Fury will be exposed in December, by the brutal hands of the devastating bronze bomber. There's still the controversy of the nandrolone in his system, and refusing drug testing. Which should put a asterisk by his title win. He's made the wrong the decision going over to America and fighting such a ferocious adversary. Whether he could repeat his performance against Klitschsko again, which I personally don't think he could. He gets starched against a upcoming bodybuilder Joshua, and Wilder will certainly put a end to this farce Christmas time.
Douglas was more impressive in 90, beat down a guy who'd never even been dropped. Fury beat a guy of 40 on points who took him too lightly and never had a plan B. And Douglas might have been clean - unlike Mike and Fury.
That largely depends on how fat and shot Fury will be. I tend to think he's here to cash out and show up in less than average form.
Fury is a total hype job. Can't get over the number of people who keep singing this guy's praises. Based on what? The Vlad fight was one of the worst fight ever fought. They both looked like $hit. Cunningham KD'd Fury and he is much smaller than Fury. I wish he and his big mouth would just go away. He showed his true colors by falling apart after he got the decision over Vlad. Underneath all of the talk is a deeply insecure man.
The only comparison between the two is that becoming World Champ kind of ruined them. Douglas had been a good fighter prior to the Tyson fight. He was excellent against Tucker until he ran out of steam. But he was super motivated for the Tyson fight and could never get up that far again. Fury has always been awkward and difficult, with much better technique than he's given credit for. I don't like him as a boxer and expected Klitschko to destroy him, but I was completely wrong. He went off the rails after that and has not looked good since.
