Is fury popular in Ireland or England

    He's probably one of the most popular boxers in the UK at the moment, thanks to his ITV4 and now CH5 exposure. Im not sure if "popular" would be the right word(a lot of people think hes ****), but he certainly drums up interest.

    He's pretty well known i would say he has had a fair bit of media attention . I like Fury i think he's exciting to watch and i think he beats most heavyweights on the scene at the moment..

    I met him at the Casey fight as well. He had time for everybody. He was mad for a bit of loose talk. which always helps. The average lad in the South hasn't really heard about him. However any of the travellers I know, all are big fans of him though.

    I don't know whether the Irish sporting public will take to him 100% though. I remember him draping a Union Jack flag around his shoulders, people wouldn't be too keen on him doing that. I can never recall the likes of Macklin doing that.
