What makes this time different is he actually is at the end of his career and if he keeps fighting he will be more and more diminished for each fight. So if not now he'd still need to retire soon anyway. The only thing left to do is possibly get brutally KO'ed by AJ and his ego may not be ok with taking that chance.
I doubt it. The "retirement", if cynical, serves a few purposes: 1. Haggle for more money from the Saudi's to "unretire" 2. Mess with Joshua mentally by increasing the uncertainty that they will ever fight 3. Have Joshua fight someone else/other people in the meantime, increasing his wear and potentially picking up more losses
If he doesn't come back he's ducking Aj, who himself is ducking Dubois Pair of quack, quacks But yeah even though I pick him to beat Aj, it's obvious he isn't as confident So I think he will comeback, but it will need to be a ridiculous purse. Looks like the Aj fans were right all along, he doesn't fancy this matchup Dubois if he beats Parker has a chance to go ahead of both Edit I hit yes in error, I meant no he isn't retired
