Never been a fan of Sugar as Furys trainer tbh,yes he needed to be more aggressive for the Wilder fight but that was expected. Fury is no longer the herky jerky switch hitting boxer relying on his skill set and ring iq,he is now a more predictable, stationary static target relying on his size and weight who now fights as though he is a bonafide puncher eating more shots than ever whilst trying to put his opponent away. Fury needs to get back to his boxing that his late Uncle Hughie taught him and then Peter continued with there is simply no need for Kronk style which goes against everything he learned from starting boxing .

Fury still seems sharp in interviews so I don't think the brain damage is that bad. Compare him to the likes of Dave Allen, Chisora, Joyce or even Wilder, who do seem punch drunk. Joshua also seems scrambled at times but I think that's PTSD more than brain damage.

Just going to mention on this that I don't see too many other people bringing this up, alot of the ripple/shockwave effect you see is after wilder hits fury his punch continues and hits around the upper torso from memory (could be abit off on this but it definitely lands on his bod and alot of the ripple effect is from this

Not a knock on fury though - he still took the brunt of that punch and many wouldn't have have survived it

You're right in every single thing you said, but I don't think Tyson has the legs to implement that style anymore. He's done so much damage to this body through drugs, alcohol and obesity levels of weight fluctuations. He's never lived the type of disciplined lifestyle and maintained the type of training that a world class fighter needs to adhere to. He's paying the price for those poor choices now, and the effects are almost certainly irreversible. I don't think he can just get back in shape and suddenly get back to using feints and quick lateral and in and out movement to become a slick boxer again. Those days are gone.

I have a feeling Wilder would Marquez Fury this time around if they ever fight again.

It’s going to be interesting to see what type of Fury turns up to the Usyk fight,Furys indulgences aside the Kronk style is simply not needed at all for the Undisputed fight .
