If anything, you'd want to lean closer to the opposite - ie: that if they were won on PEDs then they weren't really held anyway.

I'm not sure I'd go quite that far, but you definitely cant claim to still be champ after popping dirty and/or retiring.

He's technically an elongated stalk-legged bald flabby shithouse coward who it took over a year of intense ridicule and shaming from pretty much the entire boxing world and all the money in Saudi to entice his giant chicken ass out of the coop to man-up to face a MW half his size

He should've been stripped long ago of the one belt he does currently own for his shameless ducking of the real HW king - King Usyk The People's Champ

No, everyone accepted his retirement after the Wald fight, the same was true after the Whyte fight.

Him changing his mind, after Usyk and AJ has already faced off doesn't change that.

There is, of course, debate as to whether the real champ is Usyk or Fury, but the winner of this fight will determine who deserves that recognition.

Usyk just like AJ is merely a belt warmer for Fury

Fury beat two reigning effectivly undefeated champions for his belts

Usyk beat a beaten bum of a bodybuilder for vacant belts.

    Nonsense.

Belt "counters" are as bad as the sanctioning bodies.

Fury and Usyk are fighting in February. If Fury wins, he remains the world champ. If Usyk wins, he becomes the world champ.

When Fury beat Wlad back in 2015, the IBF stripped him 10 days later for agreeing to a rematch with Wlad.

The IBF wanted him to fight Czar Glaskov (most of you guys who became fans less than a decade ago probably never even saw him fight in real time he's been retired for so long). Nobody thought Czar Glazkov was better than Wlad or Fury, but the IBF 'had a rule.'

The IBF has already said they're going to strip the winner of Fury-Usyk as soon as the fight is over if they agree to a rematch (they already have) because they have a 'rule' that the winner has to fight their mando Hrgovic.

So they'll strip the WORLD CHAMP and name someone else champ and won't rate the winner of Fury-Usyk because the World CHAMP didn't follow their rules.

All the ratings bodies should do is rate fighters. We don't need their "rules." We don't need them stripping World Champs and refusing to rate them or recognize their existence if they don't fight the person the ratings org demands ...

Because that renders their ratings pointless.

If you aren't going to rate the best fighter in the world because you made up a rule and he didn't follow it, what good are you?

If you're going to take the belt away from the best fighter in a division and give it to someone you don't even believe is the best ... because you 'have rules' ... you are part of the problem.

Nope. The winner of a Fury-Usyk bout will be the undisputed HW champ. Until then, there isn't an undisputed HW champ.

Will there suddenly not be a World Heavyweight champ when the IBF strips the winner in a few days time after the fight and gives the belt to the Hrgovic-TBA winner ... because the winner didn't follow the IBF rule?

You win and lose the world title in the ring.

    The rest is all smoke.

Legally, yes. But otherwise the winner of Fury-Usyk will be the People's Champ.

    That's boxing in 2023/24.

Legally? (What law is being broken if Fury and Usyk rematch?)

Fury is the World Champion. The person who beats Fury will become the World Champion.

If that person is Usyk, great.

He's suddenly NOT going to be the world champion a few days later if he decides to go ahead with his rematch with Fury. (Legally or otherwise.)

The ratings bodies are there to RATE fighters.

    That's all.

Every ratings body starts as a group of clowns who feel they can rate fighters better than someone else. Then they get a little recognition. Then they decide they should be "in control" of things. Then they decide to make "rules." Then they decide to NOT recognize the best fighter in a division because he didn't follow a "rule they made up."

Then their ratings aren't accurate because they are purposely not rating fighters based on who is best, it's based on who follows their rules best.

Then they are part of the problem (like all the other orgs before them).

Just rate the fighters and stay out of it. Let the fighters settle matters in the ring.

You'll get no disagreement from me. I don't work for the IBF, WBA, WABC or whoever.

Fury threw away his prime to avoid it at all costs. Faked an ankle injury too, then was seen in a pub watching soccer jumping up and down on the ankle.

Fury failing to lose bothers some people and they come up with fantasy reasons why he is still undefeated and the man who beat the man.
Most fighters including Usyk have taken timed PEDs before a fight so they will pass tests.
