    He may well be.

The sad part is that it's not because he's particularly good, but that the division is particularly bad.

People saying Fury is so much better than Price. Fury didn't fight Thompson did he? We've all seen Fury has zero defense and can easily be decked. The situation could have easily been reversed had Fury fought Tony twice as I believe the results would have been the same. Twice KO-d by a 40 year old slob.

Also Fury has zero skills I dont think I've ever seen him throw a punch correctly. He's a bum plain and simple.

I'd back Fury to beat Pulev.

    No thanks i've seen enough.
We'll see soon enough what Fury is made of, when he's twitching on the canvas after eating the first power punch Haye throws.

    He is.
He is the biggest, he throws combinations, has good hands speed, a fast and instiictive jab, can fight on the outside as like in the inside.
His stamina is good, he is active and can go 12 rounds.
His chin isn't as bad as some likes it to be.
His career has been good so far, he hasn't been protected, and if he beat Haye, he is a serious threat to Wlad.
Emmanuel Steward was really interested in Tyson Fury.

Peoples here talks like he wasn't the first to beat Chisora, and since then he has progressed immensely.
He was like 23 years old when he did it, which is crazy. He was challenging Chisora to a street fight, and Chisora refused and didn't do crazy things near him.
Even Haye looked scared and embarrassed near him.

The last huge guy I seen throw such fulid combos on the inside like Fury does was Riddick Bowe.

Furys sparring partner (Whyte)went to Wlads traning camp for Povetkin and gave Wlad such a hard time he was sent home after a week.

Fury at his very worst beat Chisora who gave Vitali his hardest fight since Lewis and Wlad was advised not to fight him.

Reports claimed he was on fire in sparring preparing for Haye. Shame we never got to see it.

He's an improving fighter. It's only in his last few fights that he's looked any good at all.
It's a shame his promoter is going to wait until February til they put him in the ring again. Letting him go rusty waiting for Haye, which might never happen.
He's a young improving fighter, he should be kept active.

Wlad don't clinch big guys , he'd never fight Fury the way he fought Povetkin, he would fight Fury just the way he fought Wach , thompson or austin. Wlad is more athletic, much more power and better skill , more experience, bette defense, quicker on his feet and prob even better chin. I don't think Fury has anything on Wlad, but age. Povetkin fight was a disgrace and sometimes Wlad can look really bad and boring, but he's a very good boxer .

Champ, and formerWBA heavyweight champ who has a 80%+ Ko average .lights out mid fight or sooner.:tong

Fury is David Haye wannabe. Haye was successful at painting himself as HW saviour. Fury so far has been successful at painting himself as HW clown.

Tyson Fury, even at the (modern) green age of 25, would MURDER Jerry Cooney and Trevor Berbick. He'd win some fights vs likes of Akinwande and Bruno and Moorer. He'd also be right in a fight with the Briggs and Liakovichs of the last era.

I don't personally believe he'll be beating Wlad or Vitali any time soon, but he's 25 f/n y/o. He might get KOd by Wlad next yr, but in 2-3 yrs time, he'll be right there holding one of Wlads titles he passed out at his retirement banquet.:yep

As far as being the "best" up n comer.......:think

IDK...tough to say. Some of the guys we can't even rate yet, like Joshua, Cammarelle, etc have yet to give us a taste. But from I know now, I can almost guarantee, barring injury and/or cashing out, Tyson Fury WILL BE a HW titlist.:good And he WILL be considered a top 10 HW for at least another decade.:deal
