I mean come on...Fury is just a *****, he is not that good at trash talking.

 

If Bonavena got to Ali with his talking before the fight, Fury would probably make Ali so mad he'd forget to box and come out swinging at the opening bell...When it comes to poetry and comedy, Ali might be the best show man, but Fury seems unaffected by what the other person says, where Ali could be bothered.

 

They didn't call Ali the greatest for nothing, fury doesn't even come close. Fury just shouts on like a nob.

There was a thing called controlled media in Ali's time, if your living in a PC world now you are living in a more free speech stage where if you say you want to blind someone its not even noticed but in Alis time he was marked evil for saying it to Terrell!

Free speech is being calculatingly deleted every passing day. Christ, you can't even clap now in certain Manchester Universities incase it triggers people with anxiety.

Fighters used to call each other ***gots all the time decades ago. Now you would be hounded as a homophobe and forced to apologise or your sponsors will part ways if they hadn't already. On sky sports recently, Kell Brook said something about Amir Khan's knackers (underpants) at 11:14pm, and they had to apologise for offensive language.

 

Actually based on both trash talking and getting in peoples heads without directly involving them,would put fury at number one based on that, very unpredictable.

Ali would not outmatch him ,Fury just over talks and at the speed he talks comes back much quicker.....even though Alis one liners are better.

he is a tough one because he is joking and you don't know how serious he is at it. He acts clownish where his opponents don't know if they should get mad or not. But he is great at it.

 

Fury would outtalk everyone because of his workrate, his quality sucks but his quantity is unmatched although he repeats the same phrases over and over again most of the time and he has a funny ass voice.

 

The best trash talker , mind manipulator and showman the sport has seen in the last 50 years hands down.

He's up there with Ali. His last two stinkers aren't bringing in PPV buys , his trash talk and mental warfare is.

He cracked Wilder's mental state already and i reckon Wilder is mentally strong.

He's good at controlling a conversation. For example, when the announcer made some comment or another, Fury immediately sought to put himself into control by pretending to be offended by being called the "challenger". Ali was quite good at this as well -- basically manipulating the stuffy reporters and talk show hosts into a subordinate position in the conversation by pointing out an imaginary misstep in etiquette.

Ali was more charming than Fury, and was funnier, but he didn't have the same volume of rude aggression, and could be goaded. Different styles.

Ali was better at it, though; he managed to look good with guys like Buckley, and was funnier than most late night talk show guys who hosted him. If Ali could keep his composure, he'd make Fury look kind of stupid.
