Still, beating a guy doesn't make you automatically greater in an All Time sense. Wlad will always rank higher than Fury unless he does more in the next few years, which is doubtful.

If that was all you proceeded to do, then sure I could accept that argument, but Fury has other accomplishments and his career isn't over yet. If he beats Usyk and proceeds to become undisputed I don't see why he won't be an ATG.

Fury's accomplishment is just being a champ. Something many had done already. And adding his paper this reusme, he'd need to do a LOT more to surpass Wlad. Sure, it's possible. He beats Usyk, them maybe a rubber match. But he'd still need to cleanout the HW division a bit more to at the leastm equal Wlad.

Wladimir was almost 40 with over 20 championship fights how could he not be considered old or past it ? He was at the end of his career.

Secondly Fury is not an ATG and how many top 10 Heavyweights of all time have a record as shallow as Fury's ? With only 3 wins against top 10 opposition ?

Wlad was widely considered AJs best win at 41 (two years after Fury). Fury schooled Wlad in his backyard on the cards which is a pretty decent accomplishment.

You can pick apart most people's records for depth and shallowness. Doesn't mean much tbh.

Fury ended two long reigning champions in their back yards for every belt in the sport plus the lineal. More than a lot can say.

I agree he needs more fights to cement his status though. Usyk x2, Dubios with a few others.

Do you feel Buster Douglas surpassed Mike Tyson historically when he took his belts?

Yes but the question is does Fury deserve to be in the top 10 all time great Heavyweight lists with his resume and he simply doesn't because he falls way short off the mark it's a simple as that.

3 wins over ranked opposition does not warrant being placed in the top 10 compare that to Ali, Lewis, Holmes, Louis, who combined have like 80+ wins over ranked opposition that puts it into perspective.

    That's simply not true

Plenty of people were questioning Vlad after his previous fight against Jennings

Are you saying Tyson Fury's accomplishments are equal to Buster Douglas?

Depends on how he finishes his career. 2x wins over Usyk would definitely put him up there imo, but that's if he can even do it at all.

All speculation and opinion. Time will tell

Buster Douglas beat Greg Page, Oliver McCall, Trevor Berbick, Tex Cobb, Mike Tyson.

Tyson Fury beat Wladimir Klitschko, Deontay Wilder, Dillian Whyte, Derek Chisora.

Regarding their best wins there's not much that separates them Wilder would just be another contender in the 80s winning and losing fights there's plenty of more talented Heavyweights than him in that era.

These debates are always funny cause you have to consider the era. Fury might just be the best heavyweight of his prime era but he's fought less than 40 times and at end the end of his career, no doubt. Beating Usyk, avenging that loss would be nice.. but Fury simply doesn't have the resume of championship fights over and over and he has no reason to stick around with the massive bag he's got. I actually give ATG a plus for sticking around and taking a beating from a younger guy. Fury likely won't even do that.
