Are you japanese, or an ex-pat, or just visiting? A while back I spent a year in the city of Takasaki, Gunma prefecture, as an english teacher on the JET program. Good times. Tokyo is the funnest and coolest city i've ever visited.
Bob Arum needs to get Skip and Shannon and Max Kellerman to talk/debate about the Fury vs Whyte fight on their Sports Shows. Arum needs to get 2/3 celebrities to Tweet about the fight. CineMark and AMC Theatres in America will be showing the fight - they should be letting their subscribers/followers know. They need to let the American paying public know the fight starts 5PM ET which is 10pm here in the UK. My point is they could do a whole more like sending over a few clips to WorldStarHipHop which could create social media buzz in the US. Throw a couple of dollars to that Karceno guy & DJ Akademiks. (Be different, mix it up) Everyone's talking about the fight - BT will push the PPV before, during and after the Premier League soccer match between Arsenal & Man Utd mid day Saturday. I predict 1.2 million PPV buys (UK) Regarding Ticketmaster, just zoom in by clicking on the + sign lots and lots and LOTS of GREY which means SOLD. #NasdaqFury
Well I'll be buying it for sure. And I can be as tight as two coats of paint. I even managed to have the house to my self for the evening!
This week the casuals are talking about it loads Its huge but huge enough o turn a profit? 41 mill was a huge purse bid
Ex-pat I've been out here for a little over a decade. Tokyo is great, tho I probably take it for granted a little having lived here a while. Gunma was quiet in comparison I'm guessing
It has broke the attendence record for a stadium hosting a sporting event in Europe and has has also broke the wembley attendance record also selling 94,000 tickets, considering some of the most famous musicians of all-tme have performed at Wembley and England won the world cup cup final in 1966 at Wembley that is some feat.
It’s absolutely massive. The entirety of Wembley Stadium selling out within hours, and the capacity even being raised to a record-breaking 94k should tell you everything you need to know. I’ll be there live in person, the place will be rocking
Even my neighbour upstairs from me is coming to mines on Saturday to watch and she`s never even heard of Whyte, she`s read Fury`s autobio though and really likes him.
I bet Fury vs either Usyk or Joshua would do even better. Might have to have it on Hampstead Heath outdoors so 20 million people can watch it. Personally I believe it's due to pent up demand to see Fury as he hasn't fought in the UK in 3 or 4 years, plus if you believe him (LOL) it's his last fight. But just like Tom Brady, he'll be back. I'm not buying the PPV; the undercard is crap. So I'd have to pay $70 for one fight. Not happening.
It's nowhere near old Wembly record of 126047 for the 1923 FA cup final. It was 125K standing capacity for some time before dropping to 100k and then going all seater in 1990.
This guy tries to make a point by sharing a link that shows most of the entire arena sold out except for ringside seats, and another link showing reseller tickets. You'd have been better off not sharing those links hahaha. The place will be packed.
