Is Fury's split excuse valid as a reason or is he ducking Usyk?

I thought Joshua was the biggest draw in the UK? How could Usyk be unknown there, after whupping him twice? I'm confused, which is normal for me

 

Fury isn't ducking anyone competitively, he's just being a diva and a PITA as usual. Same thing with his bogus offer to Joshua last December. He gets off on trolling everyone.

He'll eventually work out terms but I'd be fine if this fight disintegrates and we get Fury/Joshua & Usyk/Wilder instead.

 

You live a small community of coconut farmers

Every day King Fury brings home nearly 1000 coconuts he is the alpha male of the group the strongest and most powerful coconut farmer who is envied by all but a few of the villagers

Usyk is another coconut farmer he brings home a pathetic 500 coconuts because he's a small weak midget

The community leader George Foreman takes the combined harvest of 1500 coconuts and splits them out. How many coconuts do you deserve each asks the community leader? I want 750 shouts Oleksandr! Foreman laughs, but you only collected 500! Fury remains quiet, "How many do you want?" asks Big George "I'll take what you think I deserve bossman" Fury mutters to himself. The leader gives Fury his 1000 coconuts and doesn't let Oleksandr have more than his 500. Oleskandr goes back to the villagers propagandizes them claiming Fury has been stealing his coconuts and won't let anyone else have them. The villagers burn the village down and starve to death. Fury moves to another coconut farm and continues to collect his 1000 coconuts living happily ever after.
