Somewhere between the second and third options. If he doesn't improve his defense, he'll eventually get stopped, but it probably won't be when he first steps up. If he moves to 135, or faces a Valero-type puncher, he could be in trouble though (although I suspect he'd knock out Valero before Valero knocks him out).
Superb card in Hamburg... But how exactly are we going to see ALL 4 fights? :think ZDF is a piece of sh*t.
Na, my birthday is just tomorrow and I'll celebrate next weekend. To wish one a happy birthday before the actual date brings ill luck... :verysad
If you live outside Germany, you should be able to watch it via web ppv on japolito - the whole card!
its a combination of option 2 and 5. He has the tools to develop into a top p4p fighter, but he'll get KO'd if he moves up in quality of opposition too fast.
I'll just look around and WBVA and other sites to dl the interesting fights I'll miss due to ZDF's incompetence... :good
of course. They almost put him in against Rojas instead of Jimenez, a much better fighter. Then when he got knocked down against Jimenez, they picked a guy 2 divisions below who had lost 2 in a row for his next fight (Seeger)
I think the fallowing is very likly in the career of Yuriorkis Gamboa 1. He will win a world tittle mabey more than one with featherweight, super featherweight, and lightweight being possibilities. 2. Someone is going to beat him. He may or may not get ko'd but someone is going to beat him it might not happen for awile but a boxer who uses speed like Gamboa will meet their match when that speed starts to go.
It all depends on, if he is being pushed forward too fast. If he is - well... then I forsee a rerun of Vargas end career.
Face the facts people: Gamboa is a great athlete, with superb skills, but is a KO waiting to happen. If there were a P4P weakest chin list he would be close to breaching the top 10
