    Used to love watching him

But he's inactive and had been fighting in meaningless fights for last few years, plus I don't even know what weight he is, super feather ? lightweight? He even talks about fighting welterweight?! it's strange

He's getting old... I think he is wasting his talent.

because in Cuba boxing is their whole life, they are taught discipline, dedication and hard work, then when they know there is a different life in the US, they live it to the fullest and boxing stops being their priority

For all intents and purposes it's over for Gamboa.

It's Shame, we missed out on a lot of great fights.:-(

    My favorite of Cuban fighter!

Not wearing headgear also becomes a big problem for them in the pros, since they all sport candy glass mandibles

headgear is not some magical shield that prevents KOs dummy.
ever thought that not as many kos happen in the amateurs because its only 3 or 4 rounds vs other amateurs?

A lot of guys who come from overseas don't know what it is like to struggle in a city life or the show business. They dont know what a good team is a good manager is a good promoter is and often get ****ed over and used by others. He probably saw 50 giving him a big cash bonus and attention and signed with him unbeknownst after two fights golden boy and arum would be giving him his biggest pay days, NOT 50.
