I like Gamboa, but an automatic belt holder he is not. I think every one of the champions at this weight give him good fights, and I don't think Gamboa beats John or Valero.

And yes, I think they would have picked Jimenez apart. Guerrero and Valero even stop Darling.

I've seen the dude fight. Offense is incredibly, truly formidable. Defense is shaky at best, I give it about a C. Against a true puncher, that is going to get the kid stopped. I call it like I see it.

Me too. I enjoying watching the guy. Not followed him for long, but i remember when he came over here sometime last year and beat the **** out of Nicky Cook. He's a joy to watch when he's on his game.

i think he's ready at 126. he can beat some of the champs there. i'll be picking him against luevano and john. at 130 or 135, it'll be harder for him, just too many dangerous fighters, especially at 135

    Really

I've seen Leuvano only once against Nicky Cook and thought he was ****ing awesome, destroyed Cook putting him down like 5 times, he done it with ease. Complete little boxer. Gamboa has alot of holes, if Leavano could cope with the pace and offence of Gamboa he would pick him apart probally.

in his last fight, luevano also showed a lot of holes. he was floored by santiago (also floored santiago), and was very hittable all throught out the fight. i also thought luevano was awesome, but after his last fight, im not counting on him anymore. imagine, if its gamboa in front of him in that fight, itll sure be a KO.
