Is Gassiev the most overrated boxer around?

He had injuries to both arms which have blunted his tremendous potential. Particularly, his hook isn't what it was, and he has only really attempted to throw it again in the Wallin fight.

If the lingering problem is physical, he will never be what he could have been. If the problem is psychological, like it was with Donnie Lalonde, for example, he is young enough to get another chance yet.

As for him being overrated, after the Wallin fight, no one has talked about him, so I am not sure what OP is talking about.

 

Probably so. He's at the top of every set of rankings I've ever seen.
