Fair enough, I'm not going to argue otherwise. Although I still think Lemos would mop the floor with the Selby that Kambosos fought and win via 10th round stoppage instead.:sisi1

lemos was definitely a bad style matchup for selby, but selby is almost 35 years old who relies on his legs, i wasn’t aware it was an eliminator, my bad, so selby had some motivation after all but I still don’t think that’s the same selby that fought george, he looked like ****.

Teo suffered COVID and has been dying at the weight for ages. If that Teo put Boy George down imagine how Tank will separate him from his senses assuming he gets past Haney which is doubtful.

By the way I like Boy George and believe he would beat crybaby Garcia but my boy Tank is a different beast altogether, one of those rare breed of fighters cut from a different cloth.

Kambosos did dominate a 17 months younger, 12 hard rounds fresher, active Selby who was fighting at home and wasn't coming off a loss though, I don't care what that corrupt/idiot British judge said. The 10-2 GK card was most accurate, Selby was hitting air and eating counters all night. Kambosos hurt him in the 8th, which finished a minute early due to inept timekeeping and possibly saved Selby going down like Bey.

He didn't look comparatively any worse, had spots of success that Lemos would promptly cancel out with his own more emphatic successes. The Argentine, who's been boxing at 140 lb, was just too strong and aggressive for him. Kambosos never put it on Lee like that.

Even 2 rounds for Selby is a bit generous tbh, he really did nothing but move, whiff and throw the occasional rabbit punch.

Even considering the factors already mentioned, Lemos looked extremely good. But he's a pressure fighter and GK is a counter puncher, so it's not easy to make linear comparisons.

I guess we just see it differently. I think less of Taylor after his last fight, and imagining him against Tank I think Tank gets beaten down and stopped fairly easily. Tank is explosive and fun to watch when he is throwing punches, but he needs more than a punch and some dog to be on the elite level. I think he lacks creativity and boxing skill, he’s more Broner than Mayweather.

I’m surprised that there are people who were impressed with Lopez after that fight. I didn’t see many opinions on that fight but I just assumed others would have seen it like I did. That was Lomachenko not fighting for half a fight for some unknown reason (at the time) and then clowning Teo in the second half. Fair enough giving Teo the decision given the inactivity in the first half, but there were people actually impressed with him? I assumed it was a given that it was viewed as Lomachenko losing rather than Teo being impressive. That’s why I thought Kambosos was 50/50, then seeing Teo’s delusional interviews and mental weakness I confidently picked Kambosos. Kambosos is a lad who is always training and focused, he’s not going to take it easy and get distracted like Teo did. He’s not as naturally talented as Teo, but like a BHop he’s got that work ethic and mental strength to overcome that.
