With Penalosa having retired recently, do you think he deserves to be inducted in the HOF at some point? He was a world champion at super-flyweight and bantamweight and has good wins over Tomas Rojas, Jhonny Gonzalez, Young-Joo Cho and I think deserved the wins in his losses against In-Joo Cho, Daniel Ponce De Leon and Eric Morel. He was never knocked down and the only time he was stopped was against Juanma Lopez, who broke records for throwing and landing power shots, and looked two weight classses bigger but still couldnt put an old Penalosa down. He finished up with a record of

For my money, he is. Whatta sweet fighter. Not a colorful personality, but every fighter 'n trainer in a gym would stop what they were doin' to watch him spar.

No. A very good fighter, a great one even, but not HOF standard.

Yeah, Lopez who was at least two weight classes too big for Penalosa, broke records for throwing-and landing-power punches but still couldnt put a very much past his best Penalosa down.

Do you realise the criteria to be H.O.F worthy? Retired for 5 years, so hense have you got a time machine? Are you like in 2013 or something?? Gatti is not in there not possible yet. :patsch:roll:
