I like Davis' style in the ring because he's a very exciting fighter. But his opponent selection is kind of bizarre and fishy. He has this habit of trying to get smaller guys in the ring. And none of his opponents can bang. Makes me wonder if he's trying to conceal glass.
Pedraza, Walsh, Santa Cruz and Gamboa to name a few are not quality opponents are they? Some of this biased crap is full of ****.
He was 146.6 on fight night against Gamboa... That's within 1-3 pounds of 147 Pacquiao on fight night. Tank ain't small especially at 130/135.
Absolutely, he's yet to face a real puncher, and the few top tier guys that he's faced, that are featherfists, seem to bother him with their limited power, like Pedraza and Santa Cruz.
I think if you're one of Big Al's fighters who has a penchant for dropping by his office after hours he'll look after you. Jermallo's and E-Spence's CV's are either full of non to average punchers with hideous KO percentages, blown up fighters from 1, 2 or 3 divisions South (mainly E-Spence albeit Jermallo is a natural 168 who fought at 154 and now up at 160), or both. But if you're not fond of dropping by Al's office after hours he'll throw you to the wolves.
I don't think it's a chin problem, I think it's freezing up a little under pressure. He did better with it vs Santa Cruz.
havent seen any evidence that would make me think so. he seems to have assimilated punches well when he has been clocked, even if they werent fearsome punchers. although, i do think being put on rollerskates would affect him mentally, more than physically. i think he would unravel.
Former world champion Olympic gold medalist and a 4 division world champion with only 1 loss which he avenged. How Leo Santa Cruz and Gamboa get disrespected by punks is beyond me.
Shut up. How you disrespect a former 2 division world champion and Olympic gold medalist is beyond me.
