It's this type of garbage that you usually get from playstation fighters that annoys the hell out of me.

Overrated ? By whom ? Ring, ESPN ?

What was their rating and how did it compare ?

    Rubbish.

Wilder was a giant of a champion and had Fury not got up in their first fight who knows what may have come next.

    And that's just it.

A single moment in a fight, especially a heavyweight fight, can change a guys career. Yet Wilder went undefeated for longer than most until he happened to cross paths with an opponent who had the style and the tools to better him in 3 top class bouts that everyone rated highly.

After that he was on the decline, it would take plenty to keep on upwards.

Considering the guy responsible was only just beaten for the first time himself by the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world.....and now you wanna start on Davis ??

He had an off night against a classy opponent who fought smart.

    It happens.

But overrated ? Again, what did he rate below which he was rated ?

Snap out of it. Carry on like brain damaged pelicans

I have to agree that your rant on GGG is almost so insignificant I was hesitant to reply.

But just to put you in your place. Both Roy Jones Jr and Freddie Roach ranked him p4p NO.1 at different stages of his career.

    That'll do me fine thankyou.

I still remember when people were saying that Tim Tszyu was a future ATG, ...................and hadn't accomplished anything, someone on here literally said that Tim would beat Winky Wright into submission and stop him at JMW.

That wasn't very long ago. That was this decade................

People on here have said Loma (who I was a big fan of but a realistic one) was one of the greatest fighters in history, not only a HOF'er, but an ATG.

Tank has never gotten that kind of overrating, quite simply because there's a huge contingent that refuse to rate him. So no, he wasn't/isn't.

I voted No, because i think Tank is a very good fighter. Tank problem is the level of competition. Not fighting any elite fighters hindered his growth as a fighter. He barely improved while his peers are getting better against higher level of opponents.

People realize that Haney is currently in the top 10 p4p right?

No way is/was Tank more overrated than Haney.

When you are not clearly better than your +900 opponent, and when you are in the top 8 p4p and draw with someone who isnt in the top 50 p4p, you are objectively being overated.

Wilder was more overrated because at least Tank has some semblance of skills, Wilder has one punch and a worse resume than Tank

Haney is also more overrated because for some reason people STILL have him in the p4p top 10 after being completely battered by Ryan Garcia (who also only has one punch, the left hook).

Tank is up there though. More of a marketing product than a real elite boxer. Reminds me of a midget American AJ

Have you forgotten the hype around Fury? Fans were saying he's not only the greatest heavyweight of all times but the greatest to ever lace them up. While only having 2 halfway decent wins. Sure, those wins may be better than any of the wins the guys ypu mentioned may have, but, I don't see any of their fans saying they're the greatest fighter in history.

No. You need to get off those drugs, you've been hallucinating watching fights. Go admit yourself to a drug rehab.
