If you combine the two fights together and put in context, it was clear corruption. If anybody should have been ahead in the series it was GGG not the other way around. If the series was 1-2 then Golovkin got screwed, but not as bad being 0 -2-1. Complete corruption, there is no excuse.

No he didn't, he lost the rematch and the first match was close as well. In both fights he put some of the best performances in his career. You lot do everything to discredit Canelo on this, you can't, GGG was as dangerous as ever and Canelo hung with him and beat him. It's that simple.

He hung with him but lost. Both fights were legendary, Golovkin clearly won the first one, although very competitive. I have the first fight 8-3-1 Golovkin, maybe 9 -3, the best you could give Canelo if given the benefit of every possible doubt is 7-5 GGG. The 2nd fight is very similar, score wise for me. If you slow the fight down when needed to see what really happend, you will find that Canelo didn't land some of the that you assumed he landed. That fight pushed both of them to the absolute limit. The judges didnt have the luxury of slowing it down when needed though, and were very impressed with Canelo's aggression. I felt very confortable that GGG was going to get the decision in the 2nd fight, after the final bell. I was assuming the judges were going to be fair though, after Canelo got an undeserved draw and got caught taking PED'S, but once again, i was wrong. Only 2 of the 51 press score cards at fight # 2 had Canelo winning. If you were one of them it would have went up to three. 34 had it for Golovkin, 15 had it a draw.

You can’t discuss the history of 160 and skip GGG.

First was a competitive 7-5 decision, 9-3 is impossible though, Canelo won at least 4 rounds, he dominated Golovkin in the final round and won rounds 1-2-3 handily.

Golovkin's face alone tells the story for the rematch. He couldn't trade up close with Canelo due to hand-speed difference so he fought on the backfoot with his jab and worked with his counter-uppercut and right hand, but his jab just couldn't keep Canelo away. Canelo walked him down the whole fight, made Golovkin hesistant to open up with his body-work and landed the harder, more effective shots the whole night. Opinions differ here but I don't think landing more jabs counts for much when your opponent just walks through them and turns your face purple with power-shots.

Most felt he won, yet you say he blew it…

casual doesn’t understand how politics in boxing robs deserving fighters

the first fight was not 7-5 for GGG

you clearly are bias if you feel it was that close

Lol nah most people thought GGG won the first fight for coming forward but most people thought Canelo won the second fight for coming forward. GGG, no offense, had a perfect chance to have a Hagler Hearns moment with Canelo and go to war with him in the rematch and he chose not to.

That was his chance to get revenge, go to war, and have a legendary moment like all other ATG's had to do to earn their all time great status. And he chose not to.

over 600 people scored the fight on BOXREC and the composite scorecard was eight rounds to four for triple G. It was not a 7 to 5 fight. Maybe to you, but not the masses.

triple G won the first fight because not only did he come forward, but he was pressing the fight and landing the better punches.

Ginger outlanded triple G by a whopping 4 power punches and was out landed by over 50+ jabs, and you’re gonna sit here and say it was a 7-5 fight

such a small contingent of the boxing world had Ginger winning the first fight, which tells you he did not win no matter what you say
