Sounds like a GGG apologist to me.

Meaning what exactly? I think my opinions on those issues are pretty reasonable. You accuse "GGG goons" of being hypocritical on the CW issue, and I say if GGG would have taken the 164 fight with Ward for the titles that it would be BS as well?? That's pretty cut and dry if you ask me.

It was no more of a punk move than Golovkin fighting Brook at 160. That was arguably worse because Golovkin was a full fleged Middleweight and he made a WW go higher in weight. I don't know what fighting a B level Middleweight would have done for Canelo vs fighting a big name in Khan. As far as Khan not being considered a top 5 welterweight, if I'm not mistaken Khan was the #1 contender for Danny Garcia's newly won WBC Welterweight Title when he signed to fight Canelo. I'm not sure where you're getting that he wasn't a Top 5 WW, he was on a 5 bout winning streak.

Khan chose Canelo more than Canelo chose Khan. Khan called up GB and offered to fight him, he wanted the fight, if you recall the fight pretty much came out of nowhere. It's not like Canelo went out of his way to choose Khan. A fight between Canelo and a B-level MW wouldn't have been as big or as exciting as the Khan fight. Khan was a bigger name than anyone at the weight and stylistically it made more sense since Canelo was not a full blown Middleweight at that point and had been fighting Jr Middleweights.

It made more sense for Canelo to fight Khan at 155 than for Golovkin to fight Brook at 160.

Ok..sure..have it your way. Both were punk moves. How's that? Except GGG signed Brooks as a replacement.

You and I have been back and forth on this several times. We're never going to agree or even get the other person's opinion. I'll explain mine once again:

Canelo was given a voluntary defense of his 160 title. I don't care he won it at 155. He was going to be expected to eventually defend it at 160 as his mandatory was next(GGG). Instead of taking on a MW to prepare himself to fight at 160, he chose a WW. And I may be wrong about Khan's rankings. I generally go by espns rankings as a guideline.

It is that move that set me against Canelo. He'll, he could have even fought a name fighter from 54 to come up to 160.

But I get it. He was looking for a money fight instead of a serious step at being considered the champ at 160. I personally feel like he and GB did not think they were ready for GGG or would have a chance to beat him at that time.

You identify as a GGGoon? Because most if not all GGGoons were justifying GGG for wanting the fight with Ward at Golovkinweight, while condemning Canelo for Caneloweight.

At the end of the day, no matter what reason, what excuse, Or what spin you put into it GGGoons and GGG were hypocrites and fake for bashing Canelo for fighting Khan (155 not 160) and then he fights Brook, at the full limit to top it off.

Also a hypocrite for bashing Canelo for requesting the fight at 155 for no titles, while justifying Golovkin for demanding 164 for a fight with Ward.

I absolutely do not identify as a "GGG goon". Is there a similar term that Canelo fans identify as?

I give Canelo and GGG the same credit for their WWs fights. Next to none. I give GGG a little less grief over it because his was a replacement fight for CEJ while Canelo used his WW fight as his first voluntary defense.

The CW crap is nonsense and any fighter who uses it for a title fight deserves critism.

That to me is the difference in GGG taking a WW fight. He was actively in talks for a big fight with CEJ. We all know the fight fell through and Brooks stepped up. In thinking about it, out of all 4: Canelo/Khan and GGG/Brooks, it is Brooks who deserves the most credit for stepping up and "risking to be great" and going for the MW championship with no restrictions.

In reading shadow's account, and I am not sure if it is accurate, Canelo let Khan set the terms of the fight. So Khan called up Canelo/GB, said he wanted the fight but it had to be at 155. Did Canelo or GB reach out to talk with any active ranked MWs for their first defense of the MW title? Were any fighters in the top 10 available or interested? Or was it, "Well Khan will fight us as long as it's 155. So lets take that fight since its a name and a no risk fight"

Really? You have to ask that? He believes titles should have the full limit of the weight class available. Oh I know, what a freaking jerk...trying to weigh in at the allowable limit. Dude...you try too hard to hate the guy.

Still at it? Well idiot...if they ask for a title shot, that's one thing. If they don't YOU assume they will. That's how YOU operate so you don't look like a complete f'n twat.

Man...you can cry "hypocrites" left and right all you want, but the worst move I saw in years on this forum was people defending Canelo for vacating his belt, lying about his real weight and not being ready for 160 and straight pulling out from his fight with GGG.

Now THAT was some F up ish

You're a ****ing moron. No where does it say or has GGG or Sanchez ever said that a fight against SMW champion Ansre Ward at 164 (well within the SMW limit) would be a non-title fight. In contrast to Canelo specifically saying fight at 155 would NOT be for GGGs titles.

Why the **** are you even arguing this you ****ing lunatic? lol
