Would also give him more leverage with all the belts.

Golovkin wants that fight badly, but Oscar lies like Trump, you can't believe anything he says...............Oscar will wear his fishnets, hire his corrupt judges, referee and boxing commission, watch and see....................but Golovkin wants this fight.....................hell, he gave up fighting Saunders for this fight...............

I'm looking at El Loco's posts and reasoning behind. That's where the stupidity comes in. Maybe you should do the same instead of make assumptions...

Any thread saying either is ducking the rematch is stupid.

Both want the rematch as it's the biggest payday around.

I don’t think anyone believes GGG is avoiding Canelo at this point. Since the controversial draw that almost everyone felt did not reflect what actually happened inside the ring, Golovkin has been very vocal about wanting the immediate rematch and Canelo hasn’t made any statements that I’m aware of? Golden Boy has been Alvarez’s mouth piece but Canelo himself has been very quiet which is not like him.

I remember being happy that he would take over after Floyd. You know the whole gives us better fights theory. But at least at the end of my fav. Fighters losing to Floyd I could say he ran all night and we just couldn't catch him. Not this dude. With this guy if your old he'll wait a little longer and fight welters then fight you. And after 12 rounds you think your guy won nope get ready to be gutted as the brits would say. I had Lara 7-5 but and I'm not a big fan of his, but man does the ggg fight drive me nuts or how bout cotto only winning one round. I have a bad feeling if ggg doesn't destroy this guy we r gonna have to wait for----e-----ver(sandlot reference)

lol it's was a joke the trout scoring was a joke to they did the open scoring for that fight and trout was to far behind in a close fight and when Lara though that way Canelo said he was running I know Lara ran abit more then Canelo but it seems he can fight and that way and win but others can't they have to stand still and he never gave Lara the rematch

I'm kinda surprised that people would believe anything that comes out of DLH's mouth. Haven't we learned over the years that DLH spews more BS than anyone? "Floyd vs McGregor is bad for boxing, but let's make Canelo vs McGregor".

Yup I remember the trout open scoring totally f'd that fight up. Dont worry pal all ggg needed to to do was go to his body more and canelo wouldn't have had any steam left for the last 3 rounds. He'll make the adjustment. I think it's gonna be a big night for guys like us.

I think golovkin will just go straight after him and be more relentless then the first fight he was a little to carefull but he knows he can take canelos punchers clean he will make the adjustments and be alot fitter I don't see what Canelo can do better his not gonna get any faster or improve his terrible gas tank or get more power in one camp unless his on something which IMO he is

If Golovkin bum rushes Canelo, Canelo will be teeing off on him all night and possibly stop him. Did you even watch the first fight? GGG won rounds by scoring point with his jab, Canelo won rounds by landing the harder cleaner punches. There is a reason why the power puncher was VERY reluctant to commit to his punches and was reduced to mostly using his jab.

What can Canelo do different? Well for one, he will be much more acclimated to MW. He clearly packed on more muscle for his MW debut, more muscle means more oxygen needed, meaning your heart works harder and your body needs to produce more red blood cells to carry the oxygen to your muscles. With Canelo being more acclimated at MW he should be able to have a much longer gas tank. Remember who finished the fight stronger, it was Canelo.

What can Golovkin do different? Bum rush him, commit to the body? Sure, but there is a valid reason as to why he COMPLETLEY neglected attacking the body, and why he was reduced to jabbing.

Golovkin can put more pressure on and make it even more uncomfortable for Canelo without having to bum rush him and Canelo just has a terrible gas tank period and can't fight for a full fight

Easier said then done, because if it was as easy as you're making it out to be he would have done so considering he was fighting in Canelo's backyard and he or someone from his camp had already expressed concerns about judging.

Again, there is a VALID reason why GGG completely neglected the body, and its not that he just simply "forgot", and there is a reason why the power punching KO artist was reduced to a jabber. GGG himself gets winded and seemed more tired than Canelo in the championship rounds. He was literally following Canelo around the ring getting clobbered with power punches.
