3G ducks nothing. Watch him fight, he doesnt even duck punches.

Hes just a late starter thats all he came to prominence winning his first title at age 33. His reign beings after Geale, judge him from then onwards - look at the opposition since then -

    Geale
    Willie
    Brook
    Lemieux
    Jacobs
    Canelo

    Canelo is elite
    Jacobs was a good defence
Lemieux - if Lemmi was a good win for BJS then its a good win for 3G
Brook - a soft win but still ok
Geale - post prime but still a fair defence
WIllie - the only genuine weakass defence

There is no way a ratio of 5 to 2 good:weak defences can be seen as someone "ducking".

Obviously if you start counting meaningless IBO stuff then YES ther are lots of weak defences and probable ducks, but noone in their right mind counts the unrecognised IBO ones.

3G wasnt ducking when he was IBO champ, he was just doing his rounds as a "eurochamp" before moving up to world level at age 33. It is considered the normal route to take a 2nd tier/euro/commonwealth belt for a while.

Canelo at 155 woulve also been GG biggest payday so why in hell was GG willing to fight Mayweather at 154 but NOT Canelo?

Yes, 155/Canelo would have also had been GGGs biggest payday. However, as the mandatory he could force a purse bid and there would be no weight restriction. That was a better option than the 90/10 split Oscar was quoted at. See the difference?

The 155 lbs catchweight was just a dumb demand, hell some would say it was all only a motive to duck the fight, because you just cant make a mandatory challenger to go down 5lbs. It doesnt happen.

Everyone wsnts a lick at Mayweather, even Andre Ward said he'd fight him.

Oscar has two options GGG and Saunders. And at least for now they dont want Saunders. So GGG is the only real option they got, a great one too, 3 belts, huge name, older fighter. So tell Oscar to pay up cuz the ball is in Triple G's court now

Again, there were no titles on the line. Canelo dumped that fake title and called out GGG to fight at 155 for NO titles.

Funny how its a cardinal sin for Canelo to challenge GGG for a non title fight at 155 but ok for Golovkin to challenge Andre Ward at 164. GGGoons are the biggest hypocrites in boxing by far!

Canelo has many options, he still has a good 4-6 years of prime fighting with many fights in the horizon with fighters his age, while GGG is over the hill, still prime, but on the downside of the mountain.

I would say it's GGG whose retirement money options are very limited.

But but Golovkin only fights for legacy not money...

Oh how the GGGoon's tune changes depending which way the wind is blowing.

Golovkin is too predictable to lose to Floyd. Following your opponent around the ring wont cut it. There are levels to this.

I believe there was also an offer made for 155 before Canelo dropped the titles. I believe the ODH quote about 90/10 was while canelo still held the belt.

But for sake of argument, let say you are right. Let's assume the position that the only offer was 155 for no belts. Fine. Canelo/GB made an offer and GGG did not feel he needed to give Canelo that advantage.

As far as ward And 164, I'm ok with that. 2 fighters in different divisions meeting in the middle has been done several times. What I would have criticized GGG for, and I have stated this previously, is if it was 164 for Wards 168 titles. If that's the case, then shame on GGG/K2.
