Golovkin vs Lara would probably look like the modern day Vitali vs Safetypin.

 

Lara has absolutely no advantage over GGG in any aspect except handspeed, he poses no threat at all

Pavlik had power and range like GGG, but not even close to the ring IQ GGG brings. Pavlik hardly ever counterpunched, cut the ring off effectively, attacked the body, or used the jab to set up powershots. Other than "double jab", Pavlik was a basic fighter, but going toe to toe was where he shined the most. But he could be outboxed, while that remains to be seen about GGG. If not for his high ring IQ, Ggg would still be a dangerous fighter on his power alone, but he doesn't just rely on his power. On a higher level than Pavlik ever was.
