Margarito? do us a favor and switch to pac or floyd or khan, anyone else. Golovkin is reserved for people with an iq above Kovalev's t-shirts.

A few more nice videos breaking down the skills GGG possesses that people on here seem to want to write off. Anyone considering him to be some caveman with power is sorely mistaken.

Nah he is a pretty good all around boxer. Provodnikov is a hard puncher with a granite chin though.

Nothing to do with me ''c0ck sucking'' Golovkin. I just don't have any interest anymore in going round and round in circles spending forever arguing with clueless idiots and haters when I can save myself a whole heap of time by just clicking the bookmark symbol after watching videos or reading articles which completely contradict their puerile nonsense. Especially when the later is actually a much more effective and far less time consuming method of silencing their (your) idiocy. :good

I disagree with him being "just" a monster puncher with a great chin. IMHO there are lots of big hitters with hard chins around.

GGG's main strength comes from being an excellent boxer, with great balance and footwork. I really like how he is a thinking fighter, and how he takes his time to gauge his opponent before opening up. Notice how he works from the jab (a good jab) and mixes up the power of his punches to befuddle his opponent. Five or six light shots here and there, then a scorcher (usually a hook). That accentuates the power, because it is unexpected. He goes well to the head and body and improvises as well. :bbb His chin is granite. He took some HARD shots from Stevens who is heavy handed, and hardly slowed down. GGG knows how good his chin is, and flaunts it. He let Murray get off a flurry on him and shrugged. That's got to make your heart sink into your shoes, if you are fighting him. :scaredas:

Honestly, I think we have the makings of an ATG here if he can keep doing what he is doing for another 4-6 years or so. H2H I already rate him up in the top tier of MW champions. :D

Only thing that I would say is that he lacks the blistering speed that some boxers are capable of. I also wonder what he will do against a real hit and run slickster. But we will see against Monroe. I think Monroe may have the style to give Golovkin a bit of trouble - and even here I have to praise GGG, because he actively sought a different type of challenge. :good Count me on the hype train. :grouphug
