Did that fight last night count as an official title defense for Golovkin with Rubio missing weight and it not being for the title? Is GGG now at 12 defenses or stuck at 11?

Yes, it was a defence for GGG.

GGG just obliterated a hard punching cruiserweight in rubio who came at 181lbs, without breaking a sweat. He'd crack even Hagler's chin with his out of this world power

No, it was not. Triple Duck's title was not on the line. The contract weight for the fight was 162lbs.

Then your book is ****ing ****. G-Man's 3 victories over smaller, post prime Mugabi and Jackson wipes the floor with GGG's entire resume. Macklin (His best win) isn't even a footnote in this era let alone looking at it 10 years from now.

If we are just talking straight Resume what has RJJ done? His only good win is a green BHOP. Thats not spectacular. He's behind a few on the list realistically resume wise @ the weight

RJJ is good at getting KTFO.
    GGG would destroy Hagler.

I'm convinced he could KO Hagler. He just easily KO'd a 181 pound man with one punch, the man's power seems to be limitless. He could probably knockout some HWs too.

The Triple Duck hype machine has gone full on ******.

    Golovkin destroys Hagler?

    LOL.

You Golovtards need to put down the crack pipe. Triple Duck has NEVER shared the ring with ANYONE even remotely close to Hagler's stature - and you want us to believe he would destroy an ATG like Hagler?

Wake me when Triple Duck fights someone with a pulse...

If he can "knockout some HWs" then why is he too chicken **** to get in the ring with Super Middleweight Andre Ward?

Care to chew on that one?

On paper he has not yet even proven to have been the best since Hopkins. Certainly not since Hagler.

What's on paper now will change, for better or worse, in a few year's time. Way to premature to be pondering this.

It's a shame that people have to start WUM'ing whenever a good boxer comes out. The best 160 fighter since Hagler, really? Even after Hagler retired, the golden era of middleweight boxing continued. We had great middleweights from both the US and UK, not very good but great.

In my time, from the US, we have 3 legends in RJJ, Hopkins and Toney all fighting at the same time. In the UK, you had Eubank, Benn and Watson.

Apart from a past it Martinez, there is literally no one in the middle weight division who could be compared to those names.
