They guy who everyone spoke as a sure shot atg and some said he was the best junior welterweight of all time. Years passed and the world has forgot about him. Only mentioned when we speak of Judah's slinky legs. This mainly do to the lack of competition during both of their primes. Sad thing about GGG is that 168 is becoming a dull weight class so moving up won't help. Degale is the only guy left and Ramirez is too fresh I hope he stays at 160 and makes some classic with the charlo's and maybe Errol Spence moves up there in a few years
I've said this before he will be another zoo another guy who didn't dare to be great. Stayed in a weaker division when much better fights were to be had only one division up. Sent from my SM-G925T using Tapatalk
You bring up a point, Tszyu has been forgotten for one of the most memorable knockout wins of all time. Will GGG be as memorablely forgotten, time may or may not tell.
I think comparing tszyu to golovkin is a pretty good ****ogy. Some similarities there. GGG has a chance to break through to another level of recognition though if he knocks out cinnamon boy.
No. GGG will break Hopkins's middleweight record and most likely all by KO. Plus GGG, Right now is a bigger star than KT ever was. GGG is the new Pacquiao without the defeats.
Question, do any of you rate Carlos Monzon as one of the best middleweight of all time? If you do (and many do) what stand out names are on his record and how many would say were great fighters when they fought him?
