Awesome stuff.:good I am a Purple belt in BJJ out here in California. I am taking some time off because injuries sort of pile up in combat sports but I intend to jump back in eventually.

Nice to have you posting on ESB...

Ward's best win is against Calslappy left over. GGG is the man (although is best win is even worst than Ward's best win).

    1. If GGG is healthy at 154, then GGG. This isn't a known variable. There's a bunch of other things, Mayweather is an enigma, we haven't seen him in with an actual elite in years, but the closest we got was Cotto and we saw a competitive fight with him on the ropes a lot. So if Cotto can cut the ring, could a 75% healthy GGG cut it? Yes. Could a 50%? I don't know.

    2. Everyone but Ward. Though I'm not saying that he can't beat Ward, I'm saying that I would favor Ward, there's other unknown variables like how he'd carry his power and how their styles would clash. Ward's the best technical fighter in the sport though and given that his hands and shoulder were injured during the S6 and he's putting more snap on his shots now, the opposition has a daunting task in front of them in facing him.

At MW there's nobody there that will give him a fight in a championship fight. Consistency is a thing to look for and fighters don't get up for every single fight like they would the big stage. The guy vs. Stevens was a little lesser than the guy vs. Macklin, the guy vs. Rosado was not up to full ability and so on and him coming in in a big fight vs. a star like Sergio or any other would be the best trained and best prepared version you'd see.

That goes for any fighter when you see small dips and rises in performance, even Mayweather/Pacquaio.

Very nice. I've been in it 3 and a half years and am closing in on my blue. It's a great thing to known to compliment everything else and an amazing full body work out.

    Kessler
    Froch
    Dawson
    Abraham
    Bika
    Miranda
    Edwin

Golovkin has all of maybe 2 wins tops that might qualify as better than Edwin Rodriguez... Macklin would make that list and then it is if you think real highly of Rosado.

    So what is GG??

    Quit watching hype??

Then you shoud quit watching GG... a MW that struggled with a light-punching,shot to hell 154lb Ouma.

Cotto is better than anybody GG's been in the ring with.

Time for that old dude to step up.:deal

Never has a fighter been so greatly rewarded for doing so little as GG.

HBO really put one over on them this time.

No, that title belongs to MMH . . . easily.

GGG should campaign at 154 if he wants these fights . . . don't talk about moving down, do it. Personally I would favour Floyd over GGG (and serg for that matter) but the guy comes in the ring at 151-2 at most (same as Pac) and has already moved up to where his body has reached its natural limit.

there is nothing tough about someone calling out much older and much smaller men.
