He was ducked worse than any other fighter. They shafted him out of fighting the big fights in his prime. None worse than the cheaters at golden boy, letting clenelo juice up as they avoided GGG in his prime.

Canelo, probably. Floyd was too small for him.

They have been watching him far before a potential fight with Pacquiao. You just didn't exist back then. You had to wait for overhyped frauds like Golovkin to reach your twitter feed.

GGG challenged Floyd at junior middleweight. Floyd just said easy work. He did not walk the talk.

He was an unknown for so long because so few really saw him .. then he dominated without being tested ... now he is underrated and robbed as the Canelo fights were horrific manipulations .. he deserved both decisions , especially the second .. I say this saying Canelo is a terrific fighter so that an old GGG fighting him and in my opinion edging him says a ton ... GGG had an exceptional chin, very solid skills, huge strength, power , stamina and ring intelligence .. the middleweight division is stacked in its history but I feel he would have been hell for anyone of them ..

Beat him or not, he still fought them. The only opponent worth mentioning on Golovkin's pathetic resume is Alvarez, who is also a smaller opponent realistically and he beat him too. Cotto's power is FAR more proven than Golovkin in every way possible. There is no comparison there whatsoever unless you're simply airheaded. Cotto's resume honestly exposes Golovkin as a fraud.

More like he waited for him to visibly decline, fought him at age 35-36, and didn't win either fight.

When you can't find serious opposition, you move up in weight and do whatever you can to secure bigger name opponents. Every single truly great fighter has done that with the exception of extremely few that did manage to secure big fights in their divisions(Hagler, for example). Sitting in one division fighting bums forever while deceiving the public on social media is a strategy done by a fighter interested in making easy money and then retiring without being remembered for anything worth mentioning. The proof is obvious, he's not even officially retired yet and no fighter cares to mention his name anymore.
