I'm not a fan of Kovalev, but he was robbed of his hard earned belts. I didn't know Ward had that much clout.
Dude I am by no means a Ward fan but before moving up to face Kovalev, Ward offered GGG the same deal he offered Kovalev with both taking an interim fight and facing each other in the fall the fight was for 168. Ward was on record saying he would push back the move to 175 for GGG and he declined. GGG also refused to negotiate with Cotto after claiming 154-168, even tho the actual champ had no problem going to 157 for the fight. That's 2 bouts right there better than pretty much everything gennandy has done and he balked at both, but considering how he looked vs Jacobs,Canelo, and Dervy it makes since.
There is no way that is realistic in ANY way. You can throw it a thousand links and it won't make any sense at all. The proof is what Golovkin went on to do since that lie of an offer. He continued to feast on bums at Middleweight while begging Jr. Middleweights and Welterweights for paydays. Only an absolute moron would believe a garbage lie of an offer like that.
You're clearly suggesting it, moron. You did the same exact thing with Mayweather back when he signed to fight De La Hoya. As soon as you were called out for it, you quickly pretended to be a politician.
You guys don't even know what a real robbery is. Close fights are never robberies. Fights like Pacquiao vs Bradley I are robberies.
To me it really didn't matter whether GGG fought Ward or not. If it did happen it should have been done in the proper sequence, Unification, defeat Canelo, then go up and fight Ward. He more or less unified, defeated Canelo, then "boom" let the robberies begin. Then came the 20th defense which tied Hopkins record, great accomplishment, then came robbery #2. By then Ward was long gone. Who needs little smug Ward anyway. It just wasn't meant to be.Fighting Ward should have been the grand finally. Fighting him too soon could only benefit Ward.
Oh yes, Golovkin proving his Titansteel Twitter Highlights Certified power against bums is definitely better than Cotto. It's not like Cotto fought and proved his power successfully in four weight divisions and against the highest level of opposition possible. Even in his losses his opponents(Mayweather for example) admitted serious injuries. But no, Golovkin vs Lemieux and Brook is where it's at for idiots like you.
He lost to Alvarez. Do you seriously believe that farce was planning to move up?. A smaller opponent than him with 14 professional fights had him stiffed out from a single body shot recently. Ward would butcher this farce, that's why it didn't happen and that offer is a straight-up lie.
That's your interpretation. An interpretation from a mindless hater. I'm sure EVERYTHING you believe a fighter thinks is actually true! what a clown...
