GGG vs Danny Jacobs (a home fighter, probably bigger profile in the states than BJS) only did 170,000 PPV buys

Does GGG v Saunders do more? Does it do enough to pay both men what they'll want?

In the UK this fight probably wouldn't be PPV I would guess. If it was Sky maybe, but Warren and BT / Boxnation are **** poor at promoting these fights. Saunders v Monroe Jnr only had 78,000 viewers on BT Sport, a channel with 5-10 million subscribers. Frampton v Horracio had more than double that.

Would be in the UK but GGG doesn’t sell many PPVs in the US despite filling out the Garden and an obvious star it’s never translated to PPVs unlike Canelo.

It wouldn't get many buys. Golovkin is popular but I don't think he can move a ppv by himself, and Saunders isn't a household name here (though the Lemieux fight helped)

I'd say the fight sells 200-250k

    97k-157k is my guess

If the Canelo fight did indeed help GGGs brand maybe 300k. But 300k is really what an established PPV star does against an unknown fighter.

Really? This would have to be PPV in the UK. I get the whole fisheyes issue and Boxnation lacking live material, but this is a huge huge fight!

How big is Saunders in the UK? Is he more popular than Kell Brook?

Brook is a lot bigger. Brook gets up to 400k PPV buys. Billy Joe gets 78k viewers on regular broadcasting

The numbers just dont add up. 78k viewers on the Willie Monroe Jnr fight, a free fight to watch for 10 million subscribers and they can only manage 78k viewers. Now how many of these watch if you have to pay per view? I know GGG is a much bigger name than Willie Monroe but still.

It would be PPV in UK, and on HBO in the States. Anything other than that is..... a stretch

GGG is a bigger star post Canelo so maybe he can carry this PPV by himself?

I think it most definitely will out do GGG vs Lemieux/Jacobs

1.3 mill bought GGG vs Canelo, I would say GGG vs Saunders would do 500k+

Billy will talk a big game and he's white, PPV gold in america.

FFS look at Conman McGregor he can barely speak english and he's a PPV star, Billy could be another conman at least you can understand Billy.

78K on regular TV?! He's practically a nobody there. No way will people pay to see GGG KO another one of their countrymen.
