He hasn't been tested enough for it to even be a great chin, let alone atg. Lemieux didn't even hit him.
So we need to let someone with ATG punch power hit GGG flush on the chin to determine if he has a granite chin? Get out of here with that. The man's chin is solid.
I dont recall Golovkin having to take a big punch from Lemieux. Jacobs is a decent puncher I agree but I am not sure he is necessarily a bigger puncher than some of the other good punchers who have been at MW including Hopkins who was an underrated puncher. Still a very good puncher I agree. I recall thinking Jacobs had done enough when watching live but may have to watch again. Golovkin has shown a good chin and never really looked like he was close to being stopped that I have seen. I think his chin is good but I also dont think it has been hit by some big punchers, through no fault that I know of with Golovkin. Im not sure he would be as durable at SMW where they are bigger and stronger though, but he is a MW and at MW he has looked very strong and durable
What do you mean skill has nothing to do with punching power?? It says a lot about your boxing knowledge, High elites will throw there punches with more perfect timing and will be way better accurate with thier punches than those fighter's you mention, Yeah I forgot Canelo has Jones type of power.
I never said Canelo has Jones power, I just said he hits pretty hard. I am not discussing resume here, I am discussing chins. The level of opposition etc is meaningless because it's a physical attribute. Has Golovkin been in a load of fights? Yes, over 400. Has he faced big punchers? Yes. Does he get hit? Yes. Never been rocked or knocked down with all that in mind is evidence that he's got a great chin.
Can't have an atg chin without taking a shot from an elite or absorbed a great deal of accumulated punishment from a good puncher of which he has done neither
By this assessment, you would agree Floyd mayweather doesn't have a ATG chin either? this is a test of consistency for ya
