You didn't explain anything. You said you wanted to "check consistency". What you didn't explain is why you decided to bring up Floyd Mayweather, and how does my answer prove out any consistency at all? Constistent through what? There were a million fighters you could have brought up to "check consistency" so why settle on Mayweather?
If he never had to rise from a Dempsey punch, like Tunney, if he never had to rise from a Shavers punch like Holmes, if he was one of the few if only Ray...who rose from Hearns punches...how many did that? If he didn't have to rise from a Tyson punch like Ruddock, if he didnt get blasted under the ropes like Gman did Julian J...only to see him get up off the canvas, then no. He has had zero fights to prove his chin stood against the hardest hitters that are mentioned in status as an ATG puncher in any era. Does he have a sturdy set of whiskers? Sure does. Just not a chin that stood the test from what we consider a great puncher with a high % ko ratio comparable to any era.
