I don't think its necessarily a Mexican thing, I just think GBP want to super protect their cash cow in Canelo.... they wouldn't let Angulo near the guy either and still won't....

makes sense. which brings me back to my point about the gimicks. not saying that these fighters aint good but its all bout the $$$. philipinos are big spenders when it comes to pacquiao. and middle eastern people when it comes to khan. Chavez jr. because of his father. yeah its pretty much about the money.but still this a sport and when ur a champion u should HAVE TO fight your mandatories or give up the title. i dont like what theyve done to Martinez and Kirkland

You do know that GBP actually promotes Kirkland dont you??
They have no stake in Angulo either. I think Angulo is a Shaw fighter.

Is Molina GBP at all? I dont think so either. So actually money wise Kirkland-Canelo is better for Oscar as he gets to keep all the profits. Oh yea and since when is Kirkland a beast?

Canelo TKO 1 or maybe 2 rounds Kirkland

Lara and Canelo will clean out the division with Kirkland not far behind because of his physical gifts, but that jaw situation gots me doubting him...Lara Canelo will definitely duke it out, and the winner will be considered the top dawg at 154, Cotto will probably rematch PAC and Arum won't let him fight real 154 fights.

Complaining that the fight was in Mexico when Angulo is not allowed in the US is straight dumb.

No Golden Boy picked up Angulo after he came back from his lay-off and severed ties with Shaw.

It's all a business man. Only in a perfect world are we going to see champions defending all his mandatories, but the truth is we as fans never get satisfied. I still question Kirkland's potential. Angulo does something out of character and punches himself out after almost dropping Kirkland in the first making it look too easy. I need to see James rematch either Ichida or Angulo.

Many times champions go ahead and fight their mandatories yet fans complain they're too easy. Then many times champions vacate their belts to go after bigger fights and then critics say he vacated the belt to avoid a different fighter. Can't get no satisfaction man.
