Is Golovkin going down like Kirkland/Amir Khan?

Both Kirkland and Amir Khan were hand-picked Glass Jawed fighters designed to make Canelo look like a puncher, where as in reality he is featherfisted and will be even more so at 160.

Canelo by robbery on the cards or Golovkin stoppage.

 

Khan is an example of why GGG won't be stopped by Canelo.

Golovkin is going to Lemieux Canelo and will use his jab to both set up his offense and to disrupt Canelo's power shots. I actually have a feeling that Canelo might find himself unable to deal with GGG's dimensions and the quality of his jab, and we will see Alvarez plodding after Golovkin in a vain attempt to land power punches.

By around the 6th we're going to see some serious deterioration in Canelo and he will be blowing hard. I'm tipping the 9th for a Golovkin KO win.

IF Canelo is able to counter Golovkin well (I don't think so, but he's fast and his speed might make up for other factors) then GGG will be forced to his Plan B which to my mind would be a sustained body attack in order to bust Saul's endurance up and slow him down. This could be very exciting because Canelo is no mug at the inside game and his uppercut will become a significant weapon.

I don't think either of these guys are scoring quick wins, they are both tough hombres. If you had to pick one dude for the quick blowout, it's obviously gotta be GGG because of his proven power at 160.

 

Nah not a one punch KO. However I think Canelo punches hard enough to keep GGG honest and he does get hit too easily for my liking. I could see a Canelo stoppage late in the fight.
