He's a tough guy for modern day fighters but compared to the two fighters who were the absolute bar none epitome of tough guy bad asses -- Marvelous Marvin Hagler and Rocky Marciano -- hes just another fish in the ocean.

What iron chinned guy has Lemieux laid out? He hasn't. He can bang, but he's not top Echelon power in my opinion. It's why he goes 12 rounds and loses to Rubio. Even so, he didn't hit Golovkin clean repeatedly. The only person to do that who had any semblance of power was Canelo, and his power is not all that.
Hilarious. Guys who sit around in front of computers all day judging how tough prizefighters are. Da fuq do any of you know about toughness? Your toughest fight is washing the orange off your hands from your fifth bag of Cheetos of the day.
I agreed with you for the most part. Taking single shot bombs well proves you dont have a glass chin, but the true test of a chin is getting hit cleanly and in combination and not even blinking along with taking a bomb from a weird angle that you don't see coming or even anticipate it coming. Guys who can ace those two tests -- against murderous punchers no less -- that gets you into the "iron chin" club, which in reality is an extremely small and exclusive club. The term "iron chin" gets thrown around way too loosely nowadays which is a shame. If you're a world class fighter you should be able to take the not uncommon missile from your divisions best punchers every now and then, I mean that should just be the baseline. It really sucks because it takes a lot of shine off the exceptionally great chinned fighters.
You would have to put margarito up there. The guy still fought PAC with a broken eye socket got 12 rounds
This lol. You can tell these haters have never stepped in the ring before. I don't think anyone with boxing experience that isn't blinded by hate can deny golovkin being one of the toughest boxers in history. Being the #1 toughest is another story, but you can't deny his overall toughness.
All four are soft . There are a bunch of mexicans that are much tougher than these four. Golovkin is also tougher than these heavyweights.
