Career long 160 pounder who always calls out and wants to fight welterweights. Never in the history of boxing has a middleweight had so much interest in fighting guys who were welterweights...not even big welterweights but guys who came from lower weight classes.

Golovkin wanted Mayweather, Pacquiao, Bradley, Cotto and now he's fighting Brook.

    Name a bigger bully?

You failed to mention that the lineal 160 champ as well as one of the best prospects in the division blatantly ducked him. If he hadn't picked Brook, he'd have to fight someone like Tureano Johnson and then you would complain how he feasts on bums. You just want him to move up when he's a natural middleweight and take meaningless fights at 168. Even then you'll say "Who had DeGale beaten? He was a bum. Who had Jack beaten? He was a can" blah blah. There's no satisfying you.

Brook is a tougher opponent than Canelo anyway and certainly more dangerous than Liam Smith.

Nah, Broner gets my vote for mugging people outside of bowling alleys and snatching purses.

It would’ve been a bad deal to take,” Loeffler said via the latimes.com. “If the pay-per-view for the Lemieux fight is what we think it should be, Gennady would deserve more than 50% against Ward, considering Ward has barely fought outside of California. So it’s unreasonable to ask us to commit to that right now.”

I guess that 97k ppv with Lemieux was right about what they expected huh?

I think Bradley said he would fight GGG (he also said he'd fight Klitschko). I never heard of any instances where GGG said he wanted to fight Bradley either.

He's not a bully but likes to play poker with a stacked deck. Always makes sure he never concedes weight or has to boil down. A well-managed puncher but as yet - 35 fights into his career - he's failed to step up to the plate and take on elite names or step up or down in weight to prove himself. Quality fighter but a HBO hype job.

You must not be very familiar with Bhops career. And no, I'm not talking about the fact that he fought ODLH either. He called out a lot of Welters despite he himself being a SMW draining to MW.

John Ruiz' cowardly dragging of Jones Jr up to HW is surely a more egregious example.:deal
