i actually love that lowercase gee made this fight...it was funny enough watching his fans squirm and crawl around with excuses...then this happened and its become even more funny...i didnt think it could be possible to watch them take it even further....but luckily for our entertainment there are still a few of them willing to go the distance....even though most of them have already admitted what a joke this is ...theres still a few that are like "brook is a huge welter boiling down this move is great fit for him" or "this was a last minute opportunity cuz no one else would fight"....lol...almost makes me wish i was a salesmen...and these guys actually had some money
This. I didn't think little g would stoop this low to be honest. I'm not happy that this happened though because I am a little g fan, and I want to see him do great things. I wanted little g to be the one that moves up to 168 or 175, not the guy bringing up a WW 2 full weight classes.
You GGG haters are hysterical. Y'all mad AF because NO ONE will fight him, so you claim it is his fault. Sad.
lowercase gee fans=claim no one will fight him lowercase gee=never calls lara ...and replies "no" to wards email in 5 minutes(in september of 2015) shutting down any possibility of a fight in 2016 LOL....thats the hysterical part....
well...thats about how i felt about lowercase gee till he actually made this fight...now hes confirmed my worst fears about him and i can no longer even say i like him
Don't forget that Brook called out GGG 4 months ago, he got this fight because he's willing to negotiate with k2 unlike some other fighters like Lara
Let's cut the BS for a second and look at a hypothetical scenario. Just for a bit of fun. Put yourself in GG's shoes 15 days ago. He signed a contract to fight Eubank on the 10th of September which was a date that HBO had reserved at the beginning of the year. Although Eubank isn't a big name, it gave him the opportunity to broaden his fan base to fight on a big PPV fight in the U.K. It was a decent keep busy fight, better than a low level mandatory, and it was only taken because he couldn't fight any of the other MW champs. So, everything was signed and they were just waiting on the Eubank's. But when it became clear that Eubank Snr couldn't be compromised with, they were then contacted by Matchroom and offered the opportunity to fight Brook instead, under the same terms, for the same date etc. So if you had been in GG's shoes 15 days ago when that call came through, what would you have done? Are you seriously telling me that you'd have declined Matchroom's offer and walked away to look for an alternative? Seriously?
Dude, I don't write 50 essays a day defending GGG. Yes I criticize him from time to time, but I don't put 1/1000000 the effort you do in defending him.
You ridicule him at every available opportunity and ask stupid questions such as: "Why doesn't he move up the WBO's rankings to become BJS' mandatory?"
