Curry, Kalambay and Collins were all title fights.

Seems like Sturm was ahead of the ducking curve here.

Floyd doesn't want the fight, he's indicated that recently I believe.

    The deal with Ward is:

    - HBO offered the fight some time ago (2011?), Ward said he needed tune ups then, I think it was

    - Wouldn't do 164 after he said he'd fight Mayweather at 160

Deserved ? The only true way you "deserve" a title shot is by becoming any champions mandatory, if you've never been the true mandatory, you never deserved anything. I'm not familiar enough to know, he could've been a mandatory and got screwed.

It's immpossible to block ANY true top fighter from fighting for a championship or 2

Sorry dude, no time for your nonsense.

Floyd doesn't want a GGG fight:
    http://boxingjunkie.usatoday.com/20...or-comebacks-says-he-had-talks-with-showtime/

Says he can't make 160 and says he could never make 154 (where he's held titles before). Says GGG should fight Ward. Duck.
    .
    .
Ward says he'll fight Floyd at 160:
    http://www.craveonline.com/site/462917-andre-ward-ill-drop-weight-class-to-fight-floyd-mayweather

"He is the only man I will sacrifice coming to 160 for"
    .
Ward won't fight GGG at 164:
    http://thaboxingvoice.com/ward-rejects-164-lb-catch-weight-for-golovkin-fight/48092?var=no

"Ward wants to fight Golovkin, and he wants to fight next, but it won’t happen at 164-pounds"
    .
Ward previously ducked a fight with Golovkin when Golovkin first started fighting on HBO:
    http://www.latimes.com/sports/sport...golovkin-hbo-tom-loeffler-20150915-story.html

"When Golovkin first began to fight on HBO, Loeffler said, a list of 20 potential opponents included Ward (28-0, 15 knockouts), with Golovkin trainer Abel Sanchez touting his fighter as willing to fight anyone between 154 and 168 pounds in a reference directed at Ward.

But as that interest went unrequited"

'Unrequited' means 'not returned.' As in, GGG was interested in the fight and Ward wasn't.
    .
    .
Ward and Mayweather ducked and are ducking Golovkin. No surprise, and they're in good company.

I feel bad for Floyd. He's going to come back and fight Garcia and the only thing people will want to know is "why isn't he fighting Golovkin?"

We know why. He doesn't want the fight.

You don't have an ounce of evidence that Floyd or Ward ducked GG, lmao. Neither was ever in position to fight GG. All you have is articles and BS quotes that don't tell fans a damn thing. Nobody thinks that either guy ducked GG except fanatics like yourself.

What about Andre Ward? Neither ducked each other.

Yes, all he has is evidence, quotes, logic, reason. Imagine walking into court as that as your defense.

"All you have against me is eye witnesses, physical evidence, quotes, logic, and reason."

I'm not saying that Ward ducked GGG, but obviously he wasn't ready to fight GGG after coming back from his lay off, and also had different priorities in terms of moving up in weight and couldn't really make 168 without taking great pains.

They both were in different places.

I only deal in evidence, not BS.

We know Floyd has held multiple 154 pound titles and Golovkin has said he would drop to 154 pounds to fight. Floyd doesn't want it, as he says in the article.

Ward ducked Golovkin at least once and probably twice. He said himself, as I cited above, he would drop to 160 before to fight Floyd but then he would not accept a fight at 164 with Golovkin. These are facts.

It's tough, I get it, to be a fan of coward fighters. Sorry if you're a Mayweather or Ward fan. I just try to stay on track with citations and reality, not message-board foolishness.

He absolutely ducked him at least once. And likely twice.

Ward said he would sacrifice to get down to 160 to fight Floyd. Yet he would not fight Golovkin at 164. That's a duck; there's no way around it.

And if the LA Times article is to be believed, then Ward ducked Golovkin twice.

I wrote a long thread awhile ago in defense of GGG against the claim that he ducked Ward. It simply is not true and it's only parroted by people who look to any reason at all to irrationally belittle him.

I'll check out the links. Thanks for posting them.
