Is Golovkin the underdog against Lemieux?

I would not go as far to say that but its a very tough fight for GGG

David is a very hard puncher and GGG has taken a lot of shots lately

 

He has a far bigger fan base licking his nuts, and praising him for doing nothing. He's far more overrated than underrated.

 

are you trolling? there's xellos, ol bub, schooling aka gramsey aka the general aka the first grade drop out, buffy, hans, aquavirgin, quadruple g, just off the top of my head. if i go through all threads i can find far more easily.

 

Yet his fanbase isn't large enough that the fight shouldn't be on PPV right ellerbe the alt™

 

the only reason i think that it shouldn't be on ppv is because if people buy it, it encourages HBO to make more mediocre fights. it's like brook fighting frankie gavin on PPV, yes the undercards were nice but the main event was a COMPLETE and utter joke for a regular card let alone PPV. if i was in the UK it would definitely turn me off from watching boxing.

If Kell Brook wasn't on the card then nothing else would've happened. They couldn't afford to pay Linares or Graodvich without a PPV model so nice try. Plus nobody who bought that card believed it wasn't value for money, and at 5 weeks notice, it was completley acceptable. :hi:

I never supported it. I get PPVs free where I live, but I wouldnt have paid for it. Brook/Gavin as a headliner for a PPV let alone a normal event is a complete JOKE.

 

Lemieux is a lesser Glovkin. He does nothing better than him and hits nowhere as hard.

He has the perfect style for Glovkin. Its a mismatch.

 

I think their punching power is similar, golovkin is just far more accurate and places his shots better.
