I don't know about that. It was certainly the best around a few years ago though, or at the very least one of
For sure, he has had the best jab in boxing for the last 10 years and it's the weapon thst hides the fact that he is shot
Great jabs. Ali Sanchez Hearns Louis Wlad Holmes Hagler Liston Kovalev Bowe Lewis Monzon DLH Quartey Foreman Harold Johnson Too Sharp Virgil Hill JMM.......................................... GGG is a very good and highly skilled fighter but it's hard for me to rank him high in any category because his resume is so lackluster.
Ever? I don't know. Recently? Probably the best, barring one or two guys that are arguable, like Kovalev. Maybe.
All time is a stretch for me. One of the above comments listed a whole bunch of fighters with great jabs and didn’t even get to the likes of Winky Wright, Eubank, Kessler etc. However, he is the best jabber in the business today and have been for a number for years imo.
At middle weight, it's probably among the 10 best. In the history of boxing not even top 20. Here's the thing. Usually the great jabbers are not great punchers. GGG is an exception to the norm. GGG's prime has come and gone, but he's still on top thanks to his jab.
Good list, and there's still a bunch more who you missed out which are definitely better than GGG's. Canto Perez Harada Chitalada Oba Jofre Rose Herrera Castillo Brown Ortiz Duran Gans Leonard Loughran Charles Jones Jr. Conteh Qawi Spinks Foster
He didn't use it effectively against anyone worth a damn. Not that hard to look great when you fight c+ fighters for your whole reign
