With all the garbage that comes out of Green's mouth, would love to see Briggsy put out a challenge and sort him out.

 

Briggs and Green used to spar each other and are apparently good mates.

Their sparring sessions used to get quite fiery from what I heard, and they had to be pulled apart by trainers on more than one occasion :yep

I think they would have had an absolute war of a fight. Hard to say who would have won...

 

Would of been a great fight but the briggs that fought adamek would of been way too much for any version of green.

There was talk earlier in the year of a LH tournament in QLD when they were trying to get Briggs and Green in the contest and Briggs was very keen to get in the ring with Green. The promoter didn't have the money to get green in so it fell apart. Green dropped Briggs once in sparring so it might have been a little more competitive then some might think

yes sparring and fighting are very different i must have said that 200 times on this forum will continue to say it. What I was trying to say was that it wasn't going to be a briggs KO without a doubt. it may well have been but I think the 2 of them would have gone 12 with the fight going either way by way of split decision. they were very close in there abilities iMO and it is a real shame that grreen gets the gold mine and briggs gets the shaft. both nice people and both should have been very even in what they got in life in as far as boxing is concerned am happy grreen got his very upset that paul got much less
