I do think that not having Booth in his corner has impacted on Groves negatively. However, as some have stated already, Groves will have benefitted from a decent rest and if he can't get up for this fight, he has no business being a pro boxer! I think he'll take this opportunity with both hands and get Jack out of there by no later than round 6. Groves has a big power advantage and Jack isn't exactly hard to miss plus Groves has all the skill and physical size advantages plus experience. Fair play to Jack for ending Dirrelevants reign but his own reign will end on sept 12th

if you think Callum smith beats groves you need to watch Rebrasse catch him.. I personally fancy Fielding Vs Smith and think He'd have more chance vs Groves. Tbh this is a make or break fight for George, If he loses no were for him to go and IF wins (which id expect) hes right in the mix. DeGale not active enough to beat anyone who is genuine world class by a wide points D.

Groves should beat jack. Groves vs Smith would be decent, but Groves should easily outbox fielding who I think will find his level at European standard.

lets face facts, if groves boxes to the level he has been he beats jack everyday. He took a 4 time champion ( froch ) to the wire boxing superbly well and was making froch look ordinary in one fight second fight he was boxing well until frohc produced an amazing punch.

would jack beat froch or come close? No chance im afraid so groves wins this and in style, apart from ward groves beats all other smw even degale

    Good posts here already.
I find Groves and Eubank Jr the funniest boxers to troll about (as a true 'Brit****' obviously) and some hilarious digs at Groves posted before this.

As for his chances against Jack, it's a toss up between the 'good' versions of both fighters and what combination turns up on the night.
With a good version of both, I'd take George....umm.....probably. Maybe. He shot doe?? Got Cobra'd whaaahhh??

Hes finished before even fighting Jack is that what you're saying? What? Give him a chance he might surprise u. Then come on here and spout your drivel, if it still applies...

As for Degale...Groves could still beat him, sure it wont be easy but it's not impossible and at this stage smith/fielding will be underdogs. Stop talking **** op.

I do think groves will beat jack but wether he will ever be able to get himself back to pre froch2 is questionable.
Also he never seems to have good conditioning and is known to gas as the fihht wears on. A point i would of thought would of been picked up by now and rectified.
The degale fight will be a fork in the rd for groves and if he lost that i could see him been put back for years

Totally agree Fielding is European level. Will be involved in good fights in the future though I am sure, has the unpredictability to knock someone out unexpectedly.

Groves is a confidence fighter so to say the froch fights have had no impact on him is just silly
