I know this question sounds crazy, but is he? He's recently Benny quoted as saying, he's going to beat Mayweather down, and he's sure Mayweather's going to run from him. He went on to say, even if he doesn't beat Mayweather's he's going to put a beating on him.

When is the last time you've heard a Mayweather opponent talk this much trash? I think part of it is selling the fight, but I also believe Guerrero really believes himself. Thoughts.

He has god on his side. The same god that's putting him in prison for years.

He's selling the fight, don't expect him to tell you the truth. He's going to go in there and try but eventually get overwhelmed the hell out as Ortiz was.

While watching the first epesode of All Accass. I thought to myself that Mayweather has a way of getting his oppoents to underestamate him. Despite the fact he's the best boxer in the world.

U guys don't see no problems Robert can present? His pressure, his toughness, his ability to box from the outside?

I've watched Guerrero for years. He's a pretty good fighter. Add in the fact that Mayweather is 36, hasn't fought in a year, looked to be on the slide in his last fight, and is allegedly getting beat up in sparring, and you have makings of an upset; or at least a really competitive fight.

If he's going to box from the outside he's going to get his ass kicked even worse than I expect it to. His best shot against Mayweather is to fight aggressive and ugly. Push, force Mayweather to the ropes, whither him with shots everywhere(shoulders body whatever he could find) and force him out of his rhythm. I assure you he won't apply any of that and even if he does, he won't be consistent with it because he hasn't really applied that against enough top opponents. Lets be real here, his one and only big and meaningful fight is Berto and that's his second fight at welterweight moving up from lightweight. As I said about Ortiz I'll say it here and mark my words, this will be a one-sided ass kicking as it's expected and supposed to. I will be beyond shocked if Guerrero shows serious competitiveness for one round.

you'd have to be a plumb dummy to underestimate the best fighter in boxing, and bringing guns into jfk notwithstanding, guerrero isn't that dumb. he may legitimately believe he can get to floyd, or he may simply be selling the fight. it probably falls somewhere in between.

He knows better. Dont be fooled by a few of his media workouts. Hes training hard, they cut intensity in half some days. Not that its going to help him...

He just has an odd tone to his voice where things are said honestly but seem superficial. If he can have the kind of success he's had in the ring, he has to have real confidence in himself. Not sure if hes underestimating him or just uncreative with his trash talking.

Yeah, I think it'll go down like the Ortiz fight. Robert will have a small amount of success, or the illusion of success, anyway, and then FMJ will figure him out, and proceed to beat that ass.
