Appreciate the kind words Noel, and likewise with your posts, third would be Downes, even tho I was in Vegas with Minter when he won the world title, and shared a few beers with him, but Antuofermo was not a steller champ by a long way, thinking Minter was in the right place, at the right time, Downes I believe fought in a tougher era, not much in it, but would have Downes slightly above Minter all in all.
Have spoken to both on several occasions, and they were very polite and humble men, it was sad the way Minter declined, he was worth much more.
If I am ever in the Cheshire locale, and spy the Bar Six, I am positive you will give me a warm welcome, bring on the Black Velvets, errr no.
