Is Hasim Rahman just 3 fights away from Top 10 ATG status?

As stupid as this sounds, ie somehow upsets Povetkin, lands a big KO on an overconfident Wlad like he did to Lewis and then beats Vitali (who is due to really show his age soon) Then Rahman will have beaten the top fighters from 2 different eras, in fact 3 if Povetkin goes on to dominate the scene post Klithsko.

As bizarre as this seems, would this scenerio be the case if Rahman wins his next three fights?

 

I know it wont happen but i always like considering how the results of fights affect atg rankings of different fighters because in reality you never really know the results of fights anyway. Upsets to happen.

I thought interesting that if Rahman was to win these these fights, and things go away, despite how ordinary his career has been and he looks on film, his resume would start to (on paper) arguably look great, and head to head he certainly has teh size and strength to compete with those before him.

Just looking back over his old record now, he has also beaten Sanders who knocked out Klitchsko as well so that will beef it up. It is not totally impossible for him to set the record straight against some of his other blemishes who are still activealso. Following Sanders, He could defend against and defeat Holyfield, Tua, and Toney who are still active.

That just leaves Ruiz and Maskaev to come out of retirement for some super fights. Okay, i know it is getting a bit ridiculous

 

My point is though, is that he is 3 fights away from a very good record, despite some ordinarly performances. obviously I dont think he would win those three fights. But to be honest, no one can say that he cant. Anyone who wins those fights would instantly have a fantastic record, but if Rahman did it, it combines with his 1-1 record against Lewis, and put his entire career into a whole new perspective, moreso than any others.

Forget about whether this will happen, (i know it is too hard for most people) but if it does, it is interesting to ponder how that might effect Hasim's standing, which is probably in reality a little higher, even as it stands than most people give him credit for.
