Most respected boxing publications, websites etc.. have him between 8-11 p4p fighter in the world.

 

I think the OP should define "elite"

If were talking about achivements; world titles, good wins etc. and being 'the man' in your weight class and being a ranked P4Per, then yes, Hatton is obviously "elite".

If were are talking about boxing skills, natural talent and ability, the absolute best fighters on the planet, like three of four names, then no, Hatton is not "elite" by that definition.

Its only stupid in that the OP didn't define what he means by elite. So everyone is just giving their subjective opinions.

Big size difference?? I wouldn't say it's big by any stretch.

 

everyone is saying he is an elite fighter but 4 months from now, i wouldn't be surprised if he becomes shot if pac beats him.

 

No question that will be an excuse.....and if Hatton beats PAC the excuse will be "Ricky beat up a smaller man". It's nothing new....comes with boxing so don't be surprised one way or the other. I just hope PAC has anther very specail preformance.
