Pacman is on top right now and he doesn't have anything more to prove really.. This is a fairly close fight but i think it'll come down to who wants it more and i believe that's hatton... He's taken so much **** from the Floyd fight that he's a man on a mission.. It's been so long since pacman lost a fight, I think he might be forgetting something.. I jsut dont think he's motivated as hatton..

    Thoughts?

Not a bad analysis but if pac ain't up for this fight then he will never be up for any big fights. Oh hatton as definately as something to prove after being humbled by floyd and then people calling him shot.

One could argue Pac still has to prove himself above 130, though I know what you're getting at. Pac could always just chalk it up to the weight and go back to 135, too, while Hatton looses "his division".

But, as john b said, if Manny doesn't find a will to win on this stage, I'd be very surprised - weight of a nation and all that, as well. And the possible reward of a Floyd fight if he wins.

I think the "desire" intangible is a saw-off in this one.

Yeah hatton defenatly wants it more I mean if PAC losses he is only going down a notch his next fight will still be against a tough fighter and In hattons case he will go down a couple of notchies down alot more then PAC

hmm says... who has more to prove or is hungry is up in the air and is something we can't measure but only speculate with objective and subjective opinions.

    Hatton:
Proving he is the best JrWW
Proving he still has it in him
Proving he is the best/ one of the best in history
    Fighting for his country
    Wants to be P4P#1
Possibly losing to a smaller man
    Wants a rematch with PBF
    Maintaining his undefeated JrWW streak
Prove doubters that he is not the underdog
    etc

    Pacman:
Proving he can fight in JrWW
    Proving he already has it
Proving he is the best/ one of the best in history
    Fighting for his country
    To maintain his P4P #1
Possibly winning off the bigger man
Sketchy if he wants to fight PBF
    Maintaining his winning streak
    Fights like the underdog
    etc

A big motivator for Pac I think is cause his MOMMA IS GONNA BE THERE.:good
I say this kinda jokingly cause I remember the first time my parents watched me compete in any sport (senior year high school)..... It was a pretty big deal for me and I performed harder.

I think Hatton may have had a lot taken out of him because of the Floyd fight. I just dont think he will have it all. and Pac is a Monster. The Pride of Hatton Country was on the Line against floyd in a bigger stage then this one, but he failed. Whats it to him if he fails again??? Since Barerra the weight of the country is on Pacs back heavy. Im sure that country wants to see pac in the ring with that loud mouth spoiled american next lol

I dont see ricky doing it I see pac in a MD. Mass Destruction. I hope rick puts up a good fight. I hate one sided fights. that dont go 12 rounds They end to quick

Hatton wants it far more, he's going in this fight with A LOT to prove and already mentioned many times how he suffered mentally after loss to Mayweather so he's going in this one to offer EVERYTHING he is capable of. Of course, whether Pacquiao is focused 100% or not(I'm sure he is as Pac always comes 100% for every fight) he will still provide HELL for Hatton to deal with.

Mentally I would easily say Hatton is the hungry fighter by far.

Dunno, I first saw Pacquiao fight in '04 and not once since then has been anything less than pumped for the full 36 minutes......Hatton's got plenty to prove, yes, but Manny is as determined as ever.
