:huh You are saying that at this moment Tim Bradley is as good as Floyd?atsch Did your parents pistol whip you when you were a kid?
lads i was at a boxing event here in Ieland only last week, where Ricky was the maincard fighters promoter i can assure you Hatton is shot, for the simple reason ,the guy is like a blimp!!!, he`s so fat its scary, he`s about 185lbs id say, the gut on him has its own post code!! i love ricky Hatton, definetly my favourite fighter of the past 10 years, but his out of the ring antics have more than caught up with him sure for him to even get back down to fighting weight, id imagine he`d need at least 4 months to lose the weight properly terrible to see id rather he retired garcefully myself
I dont think Hattons shot, He lost to 2 guys that are better than him, I think besides Maywheather & Pac he avoided alot of other good fighters who would have beaten him or given him harder fights ie Witter (good chance he would have won this one but didnt take the risk), Cotto, Judah etc. I think the Maywheather & Pac fights only happend cause he felt he would be the bigger stronger man in the ring. He could still beat alot of good guys
I wouldn't say Ricky is shot, but like someone has already said, his punch resistance has waned! Hatton took some big shots from Tszyu, who was a proven hard hitter. However, I think his lifestyle that has contributed greatly to his punch resistance declining, I really do. Hatton atm looks as out of shape as he's ever looked, so once again, his training is mostly going to be about shifitng weight, which could neglect aspects like tactics, strategy. Guys like Hopkins, Mayweather, etc, can work on those things time & time again as they know they haven't got to shift two or three stones to make their fighting weight! I do not even think we can gauge too much from a possible Hatton-JMM bout. Marquez is 36, has been in some wars, was comprehensively beaten by Mayweather last time out. Would a victory over JMM really prove that much in respect of where Ricky is at as a fighter? I'm curious to know who will get the call for training services for Hatton upon his comeback?
Hatton isn't shot, losing to the two best is respecatable. He also went in with a fight plan that allowed himself the chance to be ko'd, thats exciting way to end fights so cheers to that. I def think after those hes obviously approaching his end side.
he lost to two consecutive #1p4p ... that not a shame, it just says he is not #1 p4p material but this can be also said about 50000 other active professional boxers fighting today.
Paulie would be a great (Rematch) comeback fight, Should he want to continue. If I could advise Ricky I would say "Stay the **** away from punchers first fight back"
y in the world should there be a malinaggi vs. hatton rematch. was the first one competative?... wouldnt a hatton vs. collazo rematch be more interesting? deal
