Hatton looks like ****ing skeletor when he makes weight these days.

Not sure if it's because he's so drained, or because he's so fat the rest of the time.

Either way, as said before - cutting the amount of weight he has to for a fight is ridiculous. And it only gets harder as people get older.

Gees, BigBone, now that I see that picture, which I don't recall seeing before, it looks very strange indeed. He doesn't look anywhere near the powerful guy he was against Floyd. To be honest, he looks a little sickly there.

 paulie is a guy that is probably the most feather-fisted person to win a world title in a pretty solid division at the time...now it's getting better....Paulie continues to get big fights and put on TV....he has only been beat by elite world class fighters....and if you count the diaz loss, diaz was a 3 time champ at lightweight....

It speaks volumes that paulie has done pretty good for himself while having ZERO power at all....with brittle hands....to say he is trash is a pretty stupid comment....

Hatton's best assett was his engine, his workrate, his stamina and his toughness. This was the reason he managed to make the Mayweather fight interesting despite being outclassed.

I give much of the credit for this to Kerry Kayes, his nutrionist when he trained with Billy Graham. However, after the split with Graham, and the training camp with Mayweather, he seemed to be totally lacking in his physical strength and his punch resistance was gone.

I dont think he's shot, but without Kerry Kayes behind him he loses his best assett, and the results of which are plain to see.

I also think that the results of Collazo, Urango and Malinaggi after he beat them show that infact he was a better fighter than many gave him credit for, and that his record is genuinely quite impressive. Maybe not an ATG, but impressive all the same.

Floyd is not coming off a loss. They are totally different scenarios.

I think Malignaggi would give Hatton a much better fight if it came about again. If Hatton has slowed down, I could seeing PM taking a decision.

Hatton is like the New Oba Carr 1 step beneath elite. But it just so happens the Elite in his divison are worlds beyond the rest

Always like Hatton and hated seeing him go out like that. Would like to see him tested at least one last time .. if a PM is taken i would be more than willing to watch.. would be a closer fight this time around. I think if he were to win that he would look for a slightly bigger test.

All this being said he needs to start fitness training straight after new years, because the longer he leaves it the harder that first month of training will be. Hope we can see him in the ring again - only under the cirumstances that he has completely cleaned up and got back into shape (before he takes a fight) and has a solid camp.

If not for boxing's sake do it for your missus' sake ricky .. she isn't bad - and might not stick around seeing you getting fatter by the day

Hatton just needs to fight smarter. I dont think he shot. He doesnt have the chin or skills to come forward all crazy against good fighters. It worked in the Tzyzu fight but that was a bit of a suprise really.

Maybe this time off will help him realize he needs to approach fights differently and more mature. He fights very emotional and that seems to be his downfall.

Hatton needs to be given a plan and stick to it , considering what has happend against manny , he may actually try and box , which to be honest he isnt bad at , when he uses the jab he is effective, but gets too caught up in wanting a fight , look at the way he has been knocked out running on to left hooks TWICE!! He is good friends with MAB maybe he should get some mexican coaching.
