Is Hatton really only getting 8 million for this fight?

    Ive been over this before.

Fraud pissed away the 8 mil offer before Baldy even got in the ring with Gatti - for all he knew Gatti coulda outboxed Baldy and there would have been no interest in a FMJ-Gatti rematch.

Add to it, Fraud had to give Goosen a cut of his next fight (DLH) - to get overpaid for the Baldy . . .concidentally got the exact amount he was accused of ducking  .

So Goosen's cut of the DLH purse was the price FMJ was willing to pay to get out of fighting AM. . . cause AM's offer was a one fight deal.

I still don't think 8million was really on the table to fight Margorito, because it couldn't draw enough to pay that.

Look at Margo's last fight, Floyd can draw, but not enough to cover a 8 mil purse against Margarito.

He drew with Hoya because of Hoya, and he'll draw with Hatton because of Hatton.

It takes two to make a big payday fight, or one Mike Tyson.

Floyd is no Tyson-level draw, and Margarito wasn't big enough to pull a "good" PPV number.

:patsch not even Fraud made this sad excuse.

The 8 mil offer was real, AM was willing to take short money to make it happen. . . Fraud pussed out - plain and simple.

What are you talking about. The ODH FLoyd fight was not even a done deal. SOURCE? or shut up. Floyd will get paid money to pay money back. Get out of here. Goosen gave margarito his biggest pay day and he wont give floyd 8. Come on, the fight did 300k ppv buys so if floyd got 10% of that and 6 mill he made out even. Margarito/Floyd would not even of been ppv.

Its a sad day for if a guy got to buy a fight instead of earning it the ring:rofl :rofl :rofl I mean for real think about it. You are hot off a win against..against.... Gomez..:rofl and you call out the best p4p fighter in the sport then say he is ducking you with your all hype 8 mill that the fighter was going to make the same money or more(ODH) in the first place. I guarantee floyd walked away with around 8 and the end of the day. :nut :rofl That reckless talking clown is dwelling on that 8 mill and its making is **** partner margarito look even worse. What can Marg say. I beat Cintron a few years ago..lol Cotto beat more respectable fighters then him. And margarito is supposed to be a real fighter. WOW. With no collateral but his promoters bank account that he would of went into the negative with. :blood

Its not much. i mean he's English and its only 4 million Pounds where it used to be 6. Add to that tax and expenses, he's lucky if he ends up with 2. Now thats not worth losing the O on his record.

Bull****. The fight wouldn't have earned enough to pay Floyd his purse, let alone pay Margarito ****.

You bought the hype hook, line, and sinker. Margarito was the hype job, they used the bull**** offers to Floyd to get his name out there. It was nothing but a ploy to make people think Floyd was ducking Margarito, but the offer probably was never really anything more than bull**** spewing from the promoters mouth.

Yeah, he beat gatti and judah in the same year. He was the cinderella man of boxing. He got upset of the year and everything. He fought named fighters. Margarito is and was nobody fighting other nobodies. Judah and Gatti are household. And Baldomir was the recognized WBC champ. FLOYD ALWAYS GOES AFTER THE WBC NO MATTER WHO HAS IT..EMERITUS *****

    Probably? :huh

Sorry dude, that offer was for real. :yep That was all over the news, in broadcast, in print and in cyber. If that was just just a ploy how come the very smart Mayweather with the big loud mouth didn't say so? :think

Instead he came out with bull**** excuses . . . it could have been eassier and much better if Floyd "exposed" that it's just a ploy and not a serious offer. It could have blown back into the promoters faces.

    Can't you explain that?

    :D

Personally think he should be on $20 mil. He is a very popular fighter!Hatton brings a lot to the table and is undervalued- 20,000 brits are expected to make the trip, PPV won't be on a scale with Oscar but still will be massive for this fight. How much did Oscar make for last fight? $50-70 mil.

    8 million dollars. please.

thats enough. plus he also gets PPV money aswell as his endorsment money from sponsors aswell.

by the time the fight is all said and done he will probably get 10 million.

now for a guy like Hatton thats plenty. actually come to think of it for any boxer 10 million dollars is enough.
